Should Proteus pay KuhaN?

It works both ways, if Sanc won KuhaN would be here arguing about how Proteus wouldn't have paid had he lost.
If both betting parties were serious, they should have found an escrow to hold the funds. That wasn't done, the 'bet' is just for show.
Just my opinion...

SillyRabit obviously isnt much of a gambler either... dosnt matter if KuhaN woulda payed or not becuse he dosnt have to. If he woulda lost and refused to pay it would be him being blasted right now not protues but as things worked out proteus is on the hot seet. Basicly what Kuhan WOULD have done has no bearing on what kind of man protues is. one of the quickest way for a uni kid to get jacked up in real life is to go down to the local bar and start welching on bets with townies thinking his superior intelect will alow him to talk his way out of it. Law of the streets says pay da man or get F'ed UP.

KuhaN should've known better. He was betting with a guy who spouted all the crap in the forums about having 6 beers yada yada and then proceeded to delete it afterwards.

As if Proteus was going to pay... he probably can't even afford his lunch every day. Working as a janitor in an investment bank doesn't pay a heck load as prestige as the bank may be.

Weren't you the one who bragged on forums how you would vulture Rage after war with Fury/PW after you doubled us by hitting into hostile. After you saw us win you edited all your post, canceled dragon, and did not do a thing and sat quietly. We had to come and wave you ourselves. Both kingdoms started war at even land but somehow you ended 52% our NW range when you withdraw...care to comment how that happened or how you are a hypocrite for threatening to vulture and then deleting all posts after? Why are you asking us for cf extension if you are such a tough guy.

Better yet why do you lie about "not playing" in beastblood/pulse to me when you are there. Are you ashamed you lost all your wars this age?

So you and other say its okay to GB/razekill people and police the server for matters that have nothing to do with diplomacy. anyways i doubt my kingdom would waist any time on it and i have no say in the matter anyways so u can stop with the idle threats any time. I'm just voicing my opinion that i believe Kuhan and co would be justified and jacking you up something fierce (IRL would be preferable but if they can only get at you in game *shrugs*). I have to side with Proteus here, I would not have paid a bet unless a neutral party had held the money, because there is nothing saying other person will pay or was even serious about taking the bet if they had not put their money on the table. Ever been to a casino and they let you bet without your money on the table? In what alternate universe do you live in where you make a bet and need some neutral person to handle the money?

If you make a bet and welch you're a giant douche, Someone said I'll bet $100 and someone else agreed, its a damn bet. If you lose pay up. You don't need a contract and an escrow/title company in order to enact a bet.
