As Korp pointed out. I don't see why anyone would steal into eowcf with -75% gains when there are plenty of rich provs without -gains penalties around.

Thanks korp for your honest opinion i do appreciate it,i am sure Debauchery will also rethink their actions after this age ends.Better than those people spamming moos in this thread bumping this thread and contributing nothing.

I will appreciate if you read from page 20-28,if its not such a big deal, dont really think Debauchery will be razed down moreover by a kingdom who they never stole from at all.

FS has no policy on eowcf robbing. We dont encourage it but we dont forbid it either.
Its kinda lame but thats about it, I am not fan of it myself.

Iam surprised to see KD villanized and rk‘ed over it.
Imo stealing into notices and hostiles is much worse from moral pov since it affects impeding conflicts and any and all arguments about training tpa to protect your gold aplies here as well.

when you steal into a hostile - your opponent basically cannot defend or retal for himself, so its just up to you to interfere into it or not.. thus i would call interfering into a hostile as lame..

when you steal into an eowcf - your opponent can easily defend himself with training 1-1.5 tpa (dont come to me with bs as 'HEY I LOST ECON', i know enough of the game to know training 1 tpa wont make you lose econ), so its just up to the province in eowcf to defend himself or not.. thus i dont see any problem in stealing into an eowcf..

my opinion overall is; taking advantage of inability do defend is lame (ie. ongoing conflict) - but taking advantage of deciding NOT to defend (ie. not training tpa) is just fair..

Would you hit into someones war? because its the same thing. Gains would be decent hitting some land fat prov on <100 nw/pa for upto 90% less offence needed.
Notice I say war because eowcf is still war

hitting and stealing are quite different issues.. stealing into eowcf requires constant success which can be stopped with minimal effort.. hits cant be stopped even when you are full drafted so it is lame to hit into eowcf.. the whole point is whether the opponent cant defend itself due to outside sources or decides not to defend himself.. for stealing part it is himself that didnt defend, but when it is the hits it basically cannot be defended - so they are not the same thing at all.. i wont hit someone who CANT defend himself because of past war, but i will steal from him if he didnt bother training even 1 tpa to protect his gold..

again, eowcf is not war at all - you dont have an ongoing fight so im not affecting your conflicts.. its just yourself and +%300 protection to outside sources..

explain how they are different. By robbing you take resourses directly, hitting you resourses that would have been produced in the future. Both have the same result. Please go into detail what "minimal effort" means, any thief with decent tpa will be able to rob with good gains/success into war no matter what tpa you run.

hits cant be stopped even when you are full drafted so it is lame to hit into eowcf..the whole point is whether the opponent cant defend itself due to outside sources or decides not to defend himself.. for stealing part it is himself that didnt defend, but when it is the hits it basically cannot be defended - so they are not the same thing at all..
So you say its lame to hit into war but its not lame to rob gold stunting their ability to rebuild? No one can defend themselves from outside interference of any kind. If someone wants to rob or hit into war they will. Again proving my point that they are the same thing, INTERFERENCE

i wont hit someone who CANT defend himself because of past war, but i will steal from him if he didnt bother training even 1 tpa to protect his gold..
So you have the morality to not hit someone on <10dpa for easy acres but you will rob gold piles that are easy to get from someones war. hypocrite much? for some people the full 96hrs is not enough to rebuild themselves fully. Training theifs early on just cuts down income and makes it even harder to rebuild.

again, eowcf is not war at all
Go check your KD page when your at war again after someone withdraws, it will say you are still at war. Again proving my point that you are robbing into peoples wars

Feint, BoB plundered into our EowCF aswell. Its the same as robbing only that cant be stopped by training up TPA. Being in eowcf usually means low draft if you've eaten alot of acres or lost alot over the course of along war.
It is better to remain silent at the risk of being thought a fool, than to talk and remove all doubt of it.

you have -%75 mod tpa and gains opping into eowcf or +%300 protection - which makes your tpa x4 and assuming you will have some tpa left from war +1.5 more tpa to train (end up in 2 rtpa) will give you quite a good defense against any thievery attempts combined with -%75 gains mod.. your opponent needs to send *ALL* thieves to rob through the gains mod and even 1/3 fail rate will be enough deterrent when they can steal better from other targets.. just dont blame me for stealing you when i can get +200k an op with 0 fails..

please dont make cocky posts when you are not fully aware of the mechanics, it looks bad..

thats exactly my point.. if you can stop it by tiny effort and you didnt, its your fault for getting robbed - but if you cannot stop it (hits!), then its my fault for hitting you..
