Indeed beaver.. the true story will never be fully known to any one person.. which is why we deemed it best to just accept that nobody was totally innocent.. and nobody had really gone TOO far in ignoring the utopian code etc.. so best to let what had happened be put behind people.. and work on an amicable solution for all parties to give us all the best chance of enjoying the rest of the extended age.
A little diplomacy often goes a long way.. and saves a LOT of time.
My gratitude and respect go to EOTP and to Slayers kingdom. Once we got past the anger.. both sides were very resonable.. shouts also go out to noob from EOTP for stepping in late and catching up quickly to help us expedite the agreementwhile messiah was distracted by r/l.
Best of luck to both of you guys for the rest of the age.
indeed...
this was one of the more 'regular' conflicts that tend to arise in the game, using what evidence that could be seen, DD decided to help out....there then followed the usual 'my dad is bigger than your dad' comments being thrown around which are always to be expected (you cannot please everyone straight away) but once everyone sat and talked like adults and showed plenty of respect towards each other a solution was arrived at and a situation that could have escalated was calmed down, nobody lost too much and nobody gained too much but new friendships were formed.
readers may note the continued use of the word 'respect' but imho it cannot be overused in a game where differing cultures meet, indeed it should be used more in r/l also, it really does help to avoid a lot of the arguments and conflict in game though, some could learn from this.
