A war of two titans was summoned early this age as Beastblood issued their notice to Rage of Absalom. These two kingdoms have warred one another several times over the last few ages, and Beastblood opted to start in early against Rage this age.
Pre-empting the real war, Beastblood lead a forum campaign attacking Rage. After four wars in two ages, only one of which was won by Beastblood, the time felt right to claim another victory. Commenting about their past wars, where kingdoms have reset provinces after war, Beastblood hyped their war spirit with mocking comments directed at their upcoming conflict. Rage surrendered, enduring the forum based entourage and focusing on the conflict at hand.
With a six thousand acre lead, Beastblood decided to immediately enter fortified stance and prepare themselves for war. Rage decided to spend the first day of the notice grabbing acres to close the gap between them and their enemy. This allowed them to enter fortified stance and obtain full protection before the notice agreement had expired. Rage thought it best to use this extra time in fort to out-pump Beastblood, making use of their strong human economy in the early age. Closing out their time in fortified, Beastblood converted to a war oriented build and waited for their chance to engage.
Rage considered the possibility of Beastblood initiating hits into fortified and decided to bring in some hospitals and guard stations, planning to declare in the event Beastblood offered an early blossom of declaration. Beastblood, not wanting to let Rage pump freely in their extended fort, sent seven armies to massacre two of Rage's faeries. Rage responded with only two land hits. Approximately 12 hours later, Beastblood sent another seven massacres at Rage's faeries. Rage seized this opportunity and declared war, chaining two of Beastblood's attackers.
Noting that Beastblood did not have any Mystics in their setup, and were primarily built for speed, Rage focused on taking an ops advantage, using their economy based races to keep a one-sided Sapphire Dragon against Beastblood. Without Mystics, Meteor Showers was also a one-sided event.
As war waged on, Beastblood focused on deeper chains, while Rage mixed chaining, semi-chaining, and multi-tap max gains, attempting to use their economy advantage to sustain pumped acres over their opponent.
After a rather trying conflict, Beastblood withdrew. Wrapping back up their initial forum engagement, Beastblood cited that some of the intended changes for the age did not quite function how they imagined, and that the power of a Faery with fireballs was far more immense than predicted. Forced to taste a bit of their own medicine, Beastblood re-rolled two of their own provinces into Faeries upon the conclusion of this conflict.
