IF they ran say an elf war hero core I think any of the kingdoms mentioned would end up probably somewhere lower. If it was an abs kd they would probably get waved constantly by all the anti abs and probably finish even lower then top 20 :p

Dwarf bonuses is unique and attractive, but the way the current game mechanism runs, Dwarves core don't do well. They can fetch superb numbers as hybrids but once taken down in chains and re-bloat back with acres, they are best land farms and lost all their hybrid bonuses.

human has always been overrated... it was just that last age every other option sucked so bad that human won by default, selection bias meant that the good kingdoms went with largely human setups, and human is one of the worst races at fighting other humans. the overwhelming bias towards cleric - also terrible against humans regardless of science - made things worse. the diplo system players have created overwhelmingly favors human provinces... etc. etc.

i called dorf ftw, but it's actually a contest now. maybe a rainbow coalition can win for once... anyone? anyone? *crickets*

anyway, how much of a kingdom counts as a core? if a kingdom ran with 9 dorf 7 avian 5 fae 4 whatever, does it count as a dorf core for the purposes of this wager?

elf was the best race this age, no one in my kd believed me, I wanted to use it as core #truestory
