    faeries and halflings are hardly fully nerfed with these changes, they just no longer spend all war being completely unbreakable, generally untouchable, and with enough thieves to hardly ever fail on attackers, which is exactly how it should be.

    Take a look at pretty much every top war the past few ages, most kingdoms avoid getting their t/m's getting hit altogether, and those that get them hit down hardly stops them from opping since they usually stay within 200% of NW range of the attacking core anyways. Its clearly imbalanced when every war results in both sides' T/Ms at 180 NWPA and every attacker at less than 100. Now thief mages just can't be fully immune from thief/magic and attacks, but most, even with the changes, should be able to stay immune from 2 of the 3, which is how it should be.

    Not sure if this was mentioned or is intentional, but vermin is not mentioned in any of the racial changes. When posting final changes, can you assign it somewhere or mentioned that it is removed?

    Can we just make it happen sooner? The EOA, Freeze Time, Protection - painfully SLOW........... I betcha you would get lots of players to LINE up and pay to speed the start of the next age up to say 2 days instead of weeks it seems from where we sit right now. :)

    Would Elf/Cleric have -100% Def losses(50/50 race/personality), -75%(50% from race, then 50% of what's left after for personality), or just 50%?

    I am liking the changes and this should provide for an interesting age. What I would like to see is shorter ages and maybe trialling more extreme changes even revival of other races ( yes I do miss the dark elves )

    I'd do this to undead to make them a strong attacking race. Yes remove plague and give them an EXTRA general so with warrior combo you can 6 x attack.

    Undead
    -50% Offensive losses on attacks you make
    Converts some Specialists into Elites on successful land attacks
    +1 General
    No Food Required

    Basic Thievery (Intel operations only)
    -50% Science effects

    Town Watch
    Elite: 7/2, 1000gc, 6NW


    The War Hero

    -50% train time
    -50% Honor loss from OPs/Attacks
    +50% Honor effects
    Immune to Dragon effects

    i know some people have mentioned elves are weak, but i think they are forgetting two common known elements with the changes.


    No science protection(unless one builds tons of schools which is a waste of space unless you stay small all age long..i think.)
    And the amnesia spell, then again so does fearies....

    Is this -50% defensive losses includes the reduction against massacre attacks? Usually they don't when you said it like that. But i just want to confirm about it.

    It is -50% troops killed when you are attacked. It has no effect on the damage from the attack itself.

    Give Faery's MS please since they are extremely breakable now or stronger spell and sabotage to 30%. Maybe even a nerfed version of MS would be nice or a new offensive spell just for them.

    Hostile meter needs to be fixed.
    Fort more needs to be changed a bit more by NW
    war terms to end a war would be pleasing. it's ridiculous how some KD's just prolong wars. Let each KD have war terms. I don't want to stay in wars for 3 weeks. should have dragons/no dragons/ how long a war should be/ perhaps certain goals like bringing a certain kd's nw or land down to a certain level. We want a goal that an aggressive KD can set.

    maybe an explorer mode that is similar to fort, so it makes the boring people who don't want to war all age have something to do.

    heroes and rpg aspects in utopia ?

    hey, i like proposed changes.

    though i don't like mystics, and rogues loosing DBE buildings.

    a good fix is to set up a natural DBE building for most type of setups.
    rogues = DBE thieves dens
    Mystics = DBE guilds and towers
    Sages = DBE Schools
    Tacts = DBE rax
    Clerics = DBE hosps
    Warriors = DBE TG's
    Merchants = DBE Banks
    war hero... no idea what to give them :-P DBE Arms maybe ?

    also another aspect that could be fun is heroes instead of generals.
    your heroes is able to get items from looting, and attacking aswell as GC.

    perhaps some intra kd pool where you can load up on cash, runes, food etc etc which can create items that you can give to provinces and their heroes whom gives different bonuses and or penalties. Cursed sword of destruction = Gives your heroes opponent 10% higher losses but curses him so he needs rest after each battle making him 0.5% slower(something something something)

    i think you guys get my drift :-P and it could ofc also include to defensive general(Shield of fate item)

    but would add a new layer to utopia where we all could enjoy more of utopia.

    but anywho, kudos to devs for changes. i foresee alot of fun setups next age ;-)
