Ok, so it was indeed a CF issue.

Yes rage was ready for jump us. They had 550+ mill gold and 700k+ solds.

I have a lot of respect for Elit, so I will assume he misunderstood our discussion. I was pretty clear he had nearly 6 days (from the time we were talking) until CF ended, and then another 3 of fort to use, if he chose. That's where 8-9 days came from. I must admit I was surprised at the amount of acres they had to explore with, since my estimate was off by a pretty wide margin, but either way I think all rational parties can agree that letting a strong adversary have a free cf to explore 26k acres however they choose and then leverage said acres against you is a much worse play than forcing a more even war sooner. As I said to elit a week ago ... this is the first time in ages that we are even close to an even contest, and he's a very good player and kd ruler.

Nobody should play up the advantages of one side over the other unnecessarily. Either side is capable of winning and it will come down to activity and strategy. As I said to Elit last week, if he beats us then I will learn from what he does and become better competition in the top. I admire Elit's steady dedication the last couple years on improving his kd and turning it into a very strong kd. You can never just assume you will beat him, no matter what the situation is, and this is far from the hardest fight Elit has had in the last few ages, and he won most of those harder fights, so I think everyone should settle in and watch. I'm sure he's got plenty of tricks up his sleeve.

I told him in pm that his attempt at political speak, posturing, fake diplom is very easy to see through...there were people calling ASF out for saying stuff but he was very good at it, if you can see through what ASF/dorje says you can easily see through what drixx says even more so. I don't even know why he bothers making these posts, it won't change how other kds treat him ingame, especially ours and if he manages to win this it won't make the win look better either because its not very hard to pump all age and then vulture someone right after war when you have 500M gc stocked across kd and 3 cows. Its much harder to beat pewpew when they are 10k larger with 3 cows pumping all age and vulture us than it is to be in Rage's current position and win.

Also having 8-9 days to prepare implies not being hit during the 8-9 days...this was 6 days to prepare.

With that said I dont blame Rage, they know they have no chance of beating AMA if they cfed us after their ally failed to take us out and ended up being farmed instead and I don't blame them for hitting right when CF expires because they wouldn't have a very good chance of winning if we got to use full fort stance undisturbed either...end of the day no one wants to lose.

Generally vulture is considered lame but people do it all the time, we obviously will be vulturing Rage in the future as well and they won't be fans of it either but this is all part of the game.

Good leadership and good diplo skills have put Drixx Rage in position to "vulture" AMA. If anyone can hoard gc to be used for important wars then anyone would leverage it to the fullest.
