Spell failure chance and effectiveness are the same mechanic. Maybe people are questioning if it is a flat fail rate added?

Its been debated over many ages in the fourms, but i think it comes down to 2 confusions.
1) does it add a flat rate fail? Many in the community swear it does via emperical testing, and feel that their self spells also fail more which are not tied to wpa in any way.
2) Spell success rate involves more than wpa vs wpa, there is nw and some other stuff mixed in there. Adjusting one factor by 25% will not reduce the over all success rate by 25% unless all of the formulas operators are transitive.

Another point in the dragon page to look at is the third point under Dragon Behaviour. It's outdated. I know I can change this haha, but if someone else can do it, that's great too. I don't have a wiki account yet =P. The point reads:

Every soldier sent will destroy 1 point of strength. Every Specialist will destroy 5 points.

The point immediately above that is correct; no points need to be added saying how dragons are now slain.
