Now that's a smart monarch. Knows when to withdraw so that the rebuild is quick and then back on the war wagon again.

    Many can learn from them.

If you had more to gain in war what does a strategic withdrawal mean? Unless you're coming for round 2

We had 14 provs with more O than your top O, 7 UB tms and 4 UB dwarves with army home, had awed 2/3 mystics' wpa in half, massed two rogues 4-5 times, had a one sided dragon, and a 20% nw lead on withdrawal.

Big dwarves were 40% out of range of your largest attackers and were UB army home and you had 3 chained provs out of nw range of our smallest chained prov, but yes, you totally controlled the bottom and middle and works have taken down dwarves in 4-5 days.

as far as round two we will see you next age whoever you are.....I don't hold grudges against loss wars unless we were done dirty..we were not done dirty so no need tonfrudge over it later in the age.... We accepted the war from a more seasoned bigger nw/ +1 province kingdom.... We hung as long as I felt neccesarry... We coulda ran it out another two weeks easy...unfortunately we have other ki gdoms we are lokking to war..

Also I'd like youngish note that your monarch had been denied war from us practically til he told.memyoubwere one of top 5 warring/honor kingdoms... In which I promptly replied" give us the button we'll declare." In which you then gave the button in less than 24.hours in which we declared on the same tick... You guys had networth, province, and wave date adavantage as I had asked for hostilities to start on th 4th-6th...nowhere your king insisted on the 22nd... As I said before good war guys.... We got outplayed this time and you got your win..........you war like saints kingdom does.. I'll find out soon enough who you are though....

Yup, there is that moment where the war is lost and your KD is about to eat a bunch of max gains or learns.. good to leave before that happens =). Or you could drag it out and see that ~300 acre discrepancy turn into a 3,000 acre gap over night.

Yeah, but if you keep going it's like coming out the other side of a black hole; suddenly you're in an extra dimensional zone of opposites. ~ Yeah, I've been there. Eoa war age 55(?) when our monarch went MIA. ~

Don't want to have to post logs but if you're going to spread misinformation about us I guess i will.

Your steward asked us if we could start june 21st, but we were locked in fort until june 22nd, so we said earliest we could start was june 22nd. Then pmed with your king, who at first said no war, and then said fine war starting on sunday. I then said, um, your steward told us to start as soon as we can, on june 22nd. Your king then said, "ok June 22nd it is then.. see you tomorrow morning.."

6 hours later you said.. "Fine leave fort around the 22nd or after ... And give us button and we will declare afterwards...although 22nd is not ideal for us.. around the 2nd to third is ideal..."

Sorry, but we didn't see any obligation to do what was "ideal" for you after you and your steward had already said getting the button June 22nd worked for you.

The whole process of agreeing when to give buttons or receive buttons is such an ordeal.

Receiving button is nice in theory but giving the button is just so much more straight forward. Just hit their KD and beat on anyone with army home and let them worry about responding quick enough to make the opening in war wave worth the cost of eating the hits.

The ideal scenario is you army out everyone and have army back the tic after they give button, but good luck organizing that ****.
