Objectively, it looked to me from the outside that CR wanted to see AMA defused. AMA was tearing through kingdoms that had significant advantages. To say AMA ran away doesn't jibe with my recollection. I recall pointing out that the last 2 kingdoms that called out AMA and requested they didn't run were summarily beaten.

Despite the razes Pyro was still in for a fight. In what was deemed a deal breaking wave as well, AMA had shattered the CR elf contingent. When FPA stepped in it looked like CR needed the help much more than wanted.
