again - if you saw the correspondence between me and the farm-monarch in question I asked the same things. We wanted him to surrender. He trolled back. I can provide multiple logs showing our frustration.
As for the CR connection,
Like Ben, I was part of CR beginnings as Havoc 2.0 and was a part of the crowning age. It's no lie that CR and ED are close but I don't know how that's relevant to this discussion at all...in the slightest? 2 ages ago I was playing in the NHL ghetto with Blizz, Chandler and Co. I was purposefully avoiding utonet beyond our channel.
As for the seemingly perpetual ****estorm following CR and co that you alluded to

King Salty of Salton (famed for being able to swallow 10 hotdogs within 3.201 seconds) thought they were wasting our age by trapping us in a long war.
They lost monarchy a few times as KD tried to swap monarchs to end war & quite a few people left the KD after the war because of it.
Reality is they only WD because Parth (being as useful as a bag of rubber dongs) decided to tell them we'd win in ~10 hours because our NW was double theirs and mintime was coming.
Why did they not surrender earlier? Who knows, my default thoughts on people in utopia tends to be "because they're stupid". Part of msg I sent their monarch:
"Just to clarify, there's quite a high chance of you reading this message and going "lol he mad", on the contrary you've farmed out enough honour that we'll be #1 at the end of war and we'll have enough land mass to not get farmed out by bigger KDs, in short besides this being a bit boring by dragging out we couldn't have hoped for a better war."
There's a bit more before, but that was following their monarchs (serious?) msg to Parth (I think) saying they wouldn't WD because they thought they could still win.
After the war there were mentions of Ryan, guess they were just fanbois and everyones bums are a bit sore over his time with ED.

Btw - I'm still mad about Ryan from some ages ago LOL, since not just one but TWO morons in my KD bounced their attacks on him during the cow/calf battle of Jerks v ED. I think this probably cost us the war. But even if we were gonna lose anyways, it still definitely allowed him to win prov crown.

Additionally FS seems to have closed nw gap a bit, and splored (or LLed, or hit) up a Faery. UB (?). Is this conflict going to war despite what FS perceive as a 'superior position' of ED? Only time will tell I guess. But may this thread live long and prosper!

I dont know if youre trolling while you already know what is going on or not, but i will still answer this for all to see.
I will also past the previous cf offers we had with them, so situations can be compared. I wont use any comments, just factual data on what had happened.
Last age the conflict has started, and fs was open to cf offers but parth refused to give anything for free (like a wave or a number of hits) so 'blank' cf offer was turned down. The hostility kept on for 2 weeks, and on 10th day parth still refused to give anything for free and approached to offer another blank cf. The counter-offer was 750 honor per day for wasting our time, but fs didnt insist on this and closed relations after 1-2 more days of fighting without getting anything free. The hostility would have ended on first days if parth agreed to give a free wave and move on, as was offered to him by fs but turned dpwn because 'parth doesnt give anything for free'.
Earlier this age, fs has waved ed. Ed didnt want to give anything for free again and sent retals. After that though, they agreed to stop retaling and cf after fs has finished their wave. We have taken up cf without even finishing our full wave. The result is ed walks away with a cf in return of much less than a full wave, considering their retals/ops and our unfinished wave.
A short while ago, fs offered ed to prolong their cf with ed which was turned down. Ed only agreed to give 2-2.5 extra days to prep if fs has agreed to give button after this period. We didnt want to war anyway and the offer also required no growth so it was turned down. Fs got out of emeriti war and was waved by ed an hour after oow. Fs offered to make no retals and agree to cf after ed makes their full wave, but it was turned down by ed. Parth made a counter-offer of 2-3 waves (whatever wave it takes to grab +4k honor) and a full learn wave on top of that, for a total of 3-4 waves and strictly made it clear that this offer was non-negotiable.
Apparently, parth is still far from having proper attitude and doesnt get how diplo works - so he will have to learn it the hard way.
