Wrong on so many accounts. You did NOT cf shortly after the 750 hp / day offer. To my knowledge, the offer came first week out of a total of two weeks, ie you hit us for at least one week, maybe a bit more but no less, after the offer. As far as I remember, this was the only offer we revieved from FS. The only offer we gave was CF in this one conversation. For the most part there simply wasnt much talk. Its not like I messages francis on irc / ingame on daily basis or the other way around. As we found the only offer you had made for a cf outragous, we just simply waited til you got fed up of being a bully, which took about two weeks in total.
And also, an important point here before I stop bickering on the forums at least for the rest of the day, is that FS very explicitly made it crystal clear that the hostile of last age went on til they were happy. No matter if we moved along and found another war, FS wouldnt stop their "hostile". While ED think this is quite an immoral stance, we WILL return the favour in this case.

Then let it be known that since you refuse to COME BACK to the negotiating table (we're willing to offer new terms) we have to keep hitting you. If we don't, you'll just jump us/make life hell.
If however, you want to do a fresh round of negotiations (less taxing demands from us, perhaps?) then maybe we can sign a CF and move on.
This is still a VERY active hostile until you agree to CF terms of some kind or another. We aren't walking away blindly.

To re-iterate: we want to sign a CF with you and move on. The terms will be less taxing than before. However, let it be known that until you agree to a CF of some kind or another it's still very much an Active Hostile.

So FS got out of the AWAR with a truckload of honor, enough to make #2, and not quite the force to keep it. I find it natural to CF what can be CF:d in that position, but being an awesome honorfat target, someone was bound to vulture on them. It's like tagging REBUILD or being landfat in the old days.
Had the honor been less, ED wouldn't have spent any time on this for a grudge. A wave, sure.
Some things I've noticed:
1) FS is never at fault, at any point? Never a maybe we could have done it differently?
2) Last age ED was hit for 14 days, and ate massacres & razekill attempts. We're barely half way there, no massacres or razes has been made and it's already very noise and resigned.
3) You signed up for this. You knew who you were dealing with.
Maybe 3 waves and one learn wave on top of it only this time?
I'll take a completely uninformed shot in the dark and make a guess you have negative zero chances of convincing Francis to concede anything for cf.
That's all fine and dandy but you do understand why we can't have this end without an agreement of some kind in place. I can't count the number of times in the past I didn't have agreements in place and was hunted weeks later.
Anyways, no sense in just getting pounced. We have no agreement in place and we certainly aren't going to just ingame Cf and just walk away, so...
Here's an idea: we can get a mediator!

Well like helluva said, if you make us a serious offer we will entertain it. I understand that you claim hostile is over from your side of it, thats great. If you want it to be over from our side too, you probably need to send someone in to negotiate a cf. I recomend Ahlene, he/she was at least nice and polite but its up to you.
