There is no such thing as being out of it year 0. Didn't emeriti win a crown when they lost OOP war and were in warring tier come year 1-2 ish and had to get pitty cfs?

Better yet, didn't The Historic Kingdom have like <10 people year 1? They still crowned. I'd say having a bad start is better for crown chances since you get the wars when people want to dodge the front runners.
