    Please answer!!
    1) we didnt need to state that because we already stated that it could be "no later then the 7th"
    2) it wasnt in our best interest to cancel the cf then. They forced us to offer an EOA CF but we were under no obligation to point out or fix their mistake when they took a CF on the 8th despite it being clearly stated that our EOA CF could be accepted no later then 7th

Why didnt they follow up to confirm that it was an EOA CF after they missed the dead line? they could have renegotiated right then and we would have had no choice but to agree to new terms? They got greedy and missed the deadline because they wanted to get that last hit in, then didnt even bother to fix diplo. It's not a complicated situation, they burned us but messed up their diplo and didnt fix it. It is not our job to help fix the bad diplo of our enemies.

Lol. With the attitude of beans and Spartans. I really hope divinity and friends don't suddenly grow a soft spot.

@Spartans : you should know by now that Emeriti isn't a very 'well liked' kd. And when none of the top condemns their current actions, and none of Emeriti haters thinks you are right. It can only mean 1 thing. This is not even remotely grey at all

    Go figure

Its funny how how a new twist of interpretation is presented, by one part or the other, and then suddenly everyone has this new interpretation and preaches it like its truth. Carry on. *grabs popcorn*

But yeah, why hung up on the 7th. Why not inform the other party if its a eoacf or not. It is an abvious rationalization and nitpick on details to wash your concious free from the bad behaviour you endvor on. And yes, that is what the is done in the corporation world as well. We are but humans, doing this ofcourse, blinded by greed and in-group-selfishness.

As the utopia top world tries to solve moral problems by doing contracts, with terms and cf..... so does the coporate world fail by solving their moral problems, as putting society, individuals and environment alike, in danger. Learn from one or the other.

Beans got it right in that contracts is a two-parter... 1.spirit of the deal... 2.techincalities... I forgot why it was motivated to stick with techincalities, but should stick to the spirit of it all. Cause only the spirit is moral!!! ;)

Did D break spirit of cf while negotiating? Yes.
Did S break spirit of cf at that 7th/8th? Yes.
Is any party more right than the other? No.
    - Its simply difficult to compare two wrongs with each others, but for that sake you dont have to agree to that both are just as wrong...
Is contracted cfs gonna solve behavioural dilemmas between parties? Not really.

So how, if making contracts, even contract like that Bill of Rights, aint gonna solve moral problems in a society, what will? Look no further but to glorious, socialistic SWEDEEEEEN. OH YES, my fellows. Sweden and scandinavian countires has solves a behavioural problem that countries like France, England and that new one, USA, needed some kind of contract get close to solving. It took like 500 years in the making to get it there, with a (christian) lutherian background, a king, Gustav Vasa, that put the people first instead of the lordships (the "top"), and in a few hundred years the people in the countries learned that you could trust your fellow man, that they would honor the spirit of their bargains and deals, that they would hold their word, and that there would be a king to put the wrong to right if some lordship exploited the small and poor.

Tragedy struck when those swedes and other naive scandinavians migrated to that new land in the west who called itself the United states of an America in the 19th century. When some inbred cowboys asked those blond-haired fellas to borrow a shovel or some grains for sowing, they just took it never intending to give that gain or shovel back and just lol'ed with a "no contract was signed, I can break tha promise as I please". With sadness intheir hearts, the gullible swedes learned to not hand inbred cowboys their shovels... But even today, having their long lost culutural heritage from the medieval sweden, and even if they have learned to protect themself from greedy americans, they have more trust in their fellow man then the rest of, rightly so, cynical america, and honors the spirit as often as they can afford. True story.

Enuff history and ethics class. Back to solving your problems with your fists!

    1. The deal was already voided by dicks. If Emeriti wants free land, they should just call it by what it is.

    2. Fake war? You kidding? Take a SN, see for yourself.
