If you consider sgpc's last 2-3 ages as their "prime" than we warred them before that.
At that point they were almost whoring and were never in fs range.
That said cats were awesome kd before that allready and were melting faces left and right, just didnt have exposure that came with nw.

Personally I find competition in warring tier sank even lower than in whoring one.
Few years ago there was a slew of strong warring kd's.
Fs, cats, bio, dopies, bunnies, pyro etc etc.
Competiotion was fierce.

Today its almost nonexistent and most of todays "warring kds" are ghetos. Justva bunch of 25 man ghetos full of crybabies with zero warring skill.
I dont remember last time we had week+ war.
FS declined in similar fashion obviously but I like to think we are still strong warring kd.
It just takes a lot more handholding than it used to.
