Stinger vs Munk... best for my kingdom

ok so me and the guys are getting our group back together and was just curious about what would be tbe best application for our playstyle....

We are all extremely active through out the day..
We all use whats app for group chat on our phones..
A good handful of our players play from Phone/tablet only..
And the rest do 75%+ of our playing from our phones and just accessi g utopia at night when were home on our comps..

We are also willing to pay/donate money to whatever program works best for us..

We are also only 14-15 people strong for our core and are wanting to look appealing to new comers, defectees, and other peopke who play like us... Mostly just from our phone...


Those in our core are extremely active and currently we use pimp cause upoopu is so non user freindly for phone lig ins...but pinp is out dated kinda..


Also curious how munks whats app integration works..

Not sure what Stinger does atm so I'll let others comment on that.

Munk:
1. Is actually active to help you
2. Has whatsapp integration (can connect your WA group chat to your IRC/ingame chat)
3. Can be run on Mac/PC/Android/iOS/Chrome/Firefox etc ...

Let me paste from my "hints":
To get munkbot kd you need the following:

1. Pick munkbot subdomain for your kingdom, eg mylittlekd.umunk.net
2. Pick the first username
3. Understand that this system and site is maintained by donations. A KD is expected to minimum once every 90 days, but only because most do more, can the site stay up.

If you want an IRC bot you need:
1. A channel for chat. You can also have one for council and ops (Intel ops etc gets spammed here instead of chat)
2. Register a username for the bot, configure the ajoin list for bot to include your channels and add your bot to the access list for the channels.
3. Give info to munk
(It is also possible to use slack.com, if you configure IRC as a gateway and invite munk for the bot)

If you want an Whatsapp bot you need:
1. Either pay munk min. $20 to rent a number and spend time to register a phone number for your bot or pay a bit less if you have a number already that isnt on whatsapp already and that can recieve sms.
2. When you get it make all your contact add number to their contacts to minimize bot getting banned by whatsapp.
3. Do not send identical messages to many people in KD -- gets banned for spam.

Statistics shows that 10/10 times munk beats stinger in war.
This Stinger dude is a loser.

+1 for munkbot. I think only a few old kd still use stinger, and it's not very obvious how to even get it set up in the first place. Also, I don't think stinger has actually played the game in a while.

Some things I think set it apart from Stinger (at least what I remember of stinger):
- can be run on most mobile browsers with full functionality
- faster hits (one button to fill in target def from your intel database, and one button to autofil enough offense to make the hit)
- ajax browsing mode = faster page load for op spam and general navigation (doesn't require entire page to reload between every page/op)
- pretty comprehensive IRC integration, with optional web-irc at the top of every page in-game (even on mobile)
- .plunders command (lists all kds that recently entered/exited fort, or exited war, for easy plunder search). I think this command alone has made exiting war a pretty dangerous time. Not many kingdoms tracked eow dates for plunders before this became trivially easy with the bot.

One big difference is that stinger only reads the contents of the page you are visiting, and uploads this intel to the site. Munk script actually alters/enhances the page itself with some additional functionality and tools (via javascript).

EDIT: to add to Anri's comment above. We warred a kd that used Stinger earlier this age. Soldier blocking was relatively easy to do against them because in stinger, you had to manually fill in the values on the war room page and thus give your opponent a larger window to get aid before you make your hit (many bounces that war :P).

Munk is intel stealer. You would really trust your kingdom info to munk who plays in a top kingdom? Stinger is very available I see him in our channel regularly and he isn't even playing so no worry of your intel being in the wrong hands. Many of the features listed above that are attributed to munk are available from stinger and i don't recall stinger ever hitting me up for cash like it appears munk does.

Yea, just cause Stinger doest play personally its impossible for the intel to get into wrong hands. IMPOSSIBLE, there is no way that Stinger can share the intel to other people. Your conclusions are pretty dumb. I would say that someone idling in your private channel that doesnt play or have any relation ot the kd is a bigger security risk. Then its much better to be avaiable but not in priv channel like munk.
