Nobody else plays in your kd, so what is best for your kd is hard to decide for a outsider. Both are perfectly fine tools, munk has afaik some more features.

stinger for sure takes new kds in - just irc based utonet kds are not possible atm if i am correct. slack or other irc servers work without problems.

munk has some more fancy options (autofill seems to be a big one) and is more userfriendly/easier to learn.
stinger reacts to messages within 12 hours if you have questions or suggestions. so the fact that he does not play anymore does not play a huge role in responsiveness.

to answer your questions - both are good intel tools and i doubt you play at a level (not many kds at that level arround anymore anyways) where the answer to the question munk or stinger is decisive for wars/hostiles.

Stinger told me he was not accepting new kingdoms, I'm sure he might make an exception for someone he already knows or something but in general he is not taking new kingdoms... most likely if he does not know you and you pm him looking for a kingdom you will end up ignored. My advice is to go find a kingdom with a Stinger bot already or if you have one KEEP it. Stinger is still adding new features all the time, however, so its not a dead project.

Edit: In case it needs to be said: There are some Stinger kingdoms with almost no players... thats the kind of kingdom to look for if you already have a kingdom.

Stinger >>> munk. I've never found it hard to reach stinger about suggestions/bot or web issues. If you trust your intel in the hands of an active top kingdom player you are prlly not playing in a competitive kingdom. If you want intel security stinger is the man. He is constantly adding features...I'm pretty sure most the people talking up munk haven't used stingers bot or website in a long time.
