Though we are both highly decorated players and generally agree, what Godly says is or is not ok really isn't relevant in my decision making. It was abundantly clear that Folle was functionally using the other conflict as a fakewar to pump offense and reclaim his land. His decision to declare did not dismiss our pre-existing exchange. With that being said, he has every right to hit into the war. Other kingdoms also have every right to police it.

The only reason I stopped hitting was because I wasn't willing to hit into "little" gbp coupled with nearly half-phased war stance; there were greater gains elsewhere.

How is me exploiting the war protection to grow my province, in a farm war, any different than top kds getting an early age farm war? You try to make it sound like I was bad... Lots of people probably razed both CR and Pandas this war (and quite possibly most top wars that go on). People have grudges for whatever reason.

This time it just seems like an attempt by someone to feel important. Circumventing game rules by using multis to raze should not be acceptable to anyone though. I imagine with enough free time and the right scripts, you could create enough provinces to raze kill CR's banks as well.

Hi all, I realize that so far it has been my word against Folle's, so I waited to make this post at night once I got home instead of just going back and forth. I went through channel logs to find some stuff. I'm sure I could find more if I spent enough time, but I think that this should suffice. Anyone in Expendables that has saved logs can verify that they are 100% authentic/undoctored with the exception of removing locs. I didn't even want to remove the Lucidbot tick line. Regarding the lack of @ for me and Dirty or formatting marks, our channel #doomsday was public the entire round due to having randoms and let friends spectate (we wanted to do something populist lol). I would often use a mibbit client on the username Godlee while away from my house. The log was captured via my main irc client at home.

First evidence is a few lines I found outlining what happened in kingdom chat. This passage directly points out that Folle has lied when he said he did not make a hit prior to entering his war.

Why would I make this big a deal over a retal if I had run into war? Clearly your memory isnt very good.

Blizz hit me first, which I bushed. 1-2 weeks Later Octo hits me ~12hrs pre-war with anon. Octo hits again into war, right after I sent elites out at the enemy kd. I didnt have offense pre-war to make a clear break without suiciding. Had I in fact hit your kingdom and run to war - you would have razekilled me into war.
Nodoby would make a big deal of it if I had hit your kd and run to war. That would be asking for it. But you continue with your spear lies that doesnt add up.

I don't agree that it's correct to razekill you into war even though you claim we had a right to. We simply took the retal and braced for how farmed you'd be on the other side.

I'll accept your apology if you cease the multis/razes and we can all move on. I will also apologize for raze killing you. Perhaps I could have handled it better.

The fact that his own KD wanted him gone once war was declared, doesnt explain the hit into war? Folle said he was okay with his KD hitting etc. it was more the hitting into war and demanding more of him for a single retal.

Aranfein, I really do not want to get into a back and forth over what you deem to be ethical play because everyone has a different compass and it's not the point. He and I both agree that it's a rotten thing to do to try to use a war to gain immunity from a hit.

The point is he hit us and declared war, contrary to what he stated in the quoted passage. Even in his own words, it's asking for it.

I hope we can put this episode behind us.
