There's a distinct difference between trading land for gc away from conflicts and funding hundreds of millions of gold into a conflict out of spite and you know it.

We get it, you're still mad you couldn't keep up with emeriti and couldn't even be bothered to try a losing conflict on for size, so you had to incite drama to distract from how bad you got outplayed.

But you don't get to retcon history and re-write the narrative to take the mortal high ground.

I guess that would be a difference. But many of these KDs have done the above mentioned funding into conflicts etc. Maybe the average warring tier wars were funded with less GC than a couple of hundred million but it was in ages where science still cost GC. The opportunity makes a thief. There are examples of comparable funding as well anyway. None of the KDs were processed, actually they are the ones processing now. Bart's personal motives may differ or not, but I really don't see how that's relevant.

I have yet to see the major backstabbing that supposedly goes on in the warring tier. Apparently it goes on everywhere..except it doesn't.
CR has never been anything but up front honest with us, unlike many others that are all angelic examples of fair play it seems.
If I had to name the 3 people in Utopia easiest to do diplo with it would be Zauper, Octobrev and Binar. Ask them something and they will answer, even if you may not like the answer all the time. If you don't ask, it's your own fault.
I have yet to understand why it is called feeding. Until Utopia gives the option to aid other kingdoms, the fed kingdom actually takes the resources, they are not given, they are simply not defended. Don't get me wrong it's still bullcrap but no one is twisting anyone's arm to steal or plunder them. So to say the "feeding" kingdom is at fault is imo wrong. The fed kingdom is the culprit regardless of the reasons.

You want to talk about easy diplo try Hesus. There is no negotiation just take what he gives you or fight. And if he's already lost the age he's very generous.

Except that in this case nobody is stealing my wallet. Let's use an appropriate analogy.

TBB is a tiny and insignificant city state or Kingdom and they're fighting a numerically and logistically superior opponent. Realizing the futility of this confrontation they asked a comparable power to CR (Spartans) to finance their war effort.

So while the game doesn't mechanically allow for inter-kingdom aid, Spartans exposed themselves in order to funnel, willingly, 300 million gc to TBB. Spartans weren't 'robbed' by TBB, they obliged a call for help by an ally fighting a mutual enemy.

The only thing you got right was that spartans were undefeated and so other kds also stole their gc. But in your analogy those other kds are the ones stealing the wallet.

Or like, Bart opened his wallet and let TBB take the cash out and some random guy stole the empty wallet.
