More like not in the right places because US has a ****ty system that doesn't represent the will of the people(ie the one who gets the majority of the votes gets elected). But it's been a long time since the US was actually the democracy it claims to be.

Constitutional Republic utilizing representative democracy. A pure democracy would rely on the vote directly of each individual, which puts rural folks more at the whims of city dwellers considering the huge concentrations of pops growing in them. I do believe we should do away with the winner take all system though, and award electoral votes based on individual districts.
