Trump isnt a uniquely american problem, the rise of neo nationalist extreme right and damnation of political correctress is gaining ground much adays, in europe and some asian countries.
I wonder if you Trump supporters also support the notes being left on black people's cars to go back to Africa, or care about the 10 year old girl who had to leave school cuz a male classmate grabbed her vagina, or the Muslim girl who got her hijab ripped off by a pack of white kids, or the Nazi symbols being spray painted all over the country.
That's your peer group. And as Palem pointed out, this isn't the will of the American people. It's the will of a bunch of redneck hillbilly racist white people who have an advantage in a broken system. Even setting aside the racism and misogyny, he will set back climate change reform by decades, which will just end up killing us all anyway.
Have fun with your President, because he's not mine.

I like to ponder the Trump Wall ...something akin to the Shield Wall from Dune or the Great Wall of China. At least that will create jobs.
Racism and sexism are foolish ... for immature, biased pride seekers. Hopefully the people in charge see and think clearly ... but there is a contest going on between countries, governments and religions.
Live long and prosper
I think that's a bit of an exaggeration. Out of 120 million votes cast, about 400,000 more people voted for Clinton (as far as I've seen from the latest count). That's a fraction of a percent difference. It's not like a small faction of racists managed to pull a fastbone and get Trump elected through a minute amount of votes.
The reality is that a very significant amount of people support Donald Trump. That's really what's wrong. Not that the Democrat lost to the Republican. People aren't mad that their team lost. People are upset that Americans looked at a man who was an unabashed misogynistic, xenophobic, racist fear monger and said "You know what....I want that guy to represent us to the world and be responsible for leading us." That was a deal breaker for them and now they're speaking out.
And I'll remind people that Republicans protested Obama's being elected. So if we could we stop pretending that the people protesting have reached a new level of butthurt (as I saw it described today), that'd be great.
I enjoy liberals tears honestly. Also find it funny they insult someone for supposedly being racist. Because he said we should control immigration but in the same paragraph use racist terms towards white people. So who is really the racist? Let's be honest if Republicans wanted to take back the country un democratically it wouldn't be hard. Republicans own most of the guns and ammunition in the country while most liberals are anti gun and anti violence. So yeah whenever us Republicans get fed up it won't be very difficult to take back our country. But hey let's all be friends and celebrate our new president.
Nothing like vague threats of mass killings to take the moral high ground lol
Who said anything about killing? I was making a point majority of republicans believe in democracy and want every citizen to have a fair shot. Key word is citizen and skin color doesn't play a part in that. The military is primarily Republican also who defend this country and willing to die to protect us. Just silly to say Republicans don't want democracy or are racist as a whole. You will always have one or two crazy people that the media will put on t.v. But when is the last time you saw a group of republicans looting, burning and shooting people for no reason? That's only Democrats fyi.
Just because it's unlikely to change doesn't mean that you shouldn't bring up the issue. And no, if you have an issue with the electoral college even existing that's a federal issue. If people raise enough hell about it those smaller states will be pressured into accepting to prevent riots. Just because something is hard is not a reason not to try to push for change. The electoral college made sense back when it was implemented and the general means of transportation was horse-drawn carriage. These days it's antiquated and directly harmful to the democracy.
It matters because he got few votes than the opposing candidate and therefore should have lost.
Lets be honest if Republitards wanted to take over through force of arms they'd have to fight the military, which are sworn to protect against enemies foreign or domestic, and rednecks with rifles are not significantly more useful against tanks, APC's and aircraft's than pitchforks are, so yeah it'd be quite difficult and a bloodbath.
Build a man a fire and he'll be warm for a day, Set a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.
I know the oath I took it when I served. But what do you think the military is full of? Hipsters and gangsters. Military is primarily Republican and alot of Red Neck white guys. :)
1. How do you think an armed take over of the government works? You think you just show up in Washington, flash the sight of your gun, and everything will be turned over to you? Lol. You have to shoot and kill a lot of people for an armed revolution, just FYI.
2. Who said anything about Republicans not believing in democracy? The only thing anyone said was that the majority vote didn't win the election.
3. I have to assume the "label all Republicans as racists" thing is directed towards Dharan because I've only person I've accused of being racist is Trump and that's backed by lots of evidence.
4. Did they conduct some sort of poll among looters as to what political party they were affiliated with? Or are you just assuming they're Democrats because they're black men and women? Last time I checked the Republican party wasn't a whites only club.
5. Lol @ no reason
Well I think it depends a lot on which state you send the troops from. Also there's probably enough officers/troops who are more loyal to their country and their superiors than their political party.
Well, the Oklahoma bomber was a Republican, as was the Waco people, as where the Malheur National park occupants, so...
Build a man a fire and he'll be warm for a day, Set a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.
The police force has been significantly militarized during Obama's term in office, so an outright armed rebellion would be fairly difficult to organize and just march on Washington. No it'd very much have to be an extensive guerilla conflict. You also can't just take the capital either, would have to simultaneously seize control of communications and spread your message/propaganda over MSM to rally support for the cause.
Also the Trump victory should at least speak volumes towards the level of contempt held by the American people towards Hillary. I mean as one so blindly put it "unabashed misogynistic, xenophobic, racist fear monger" beat a 30 year experienced politician. There's more to the story than what people are leading on as to how this occurred. For one this was a change election as people loudly made themselves clear were unhappy with the way things were going in the country and felt that they were being left behind. Hillary was prominently trotted out, and pushed through a grassroots movement in her own party preaching the same discontent, promised to maintain the status quo and proudly denying there was anything wrong with America while pointing to some statistics. If you check out some exit polls it showed something like >70% wanted something to change in Washington. Donald Trump was far from the perfect messenger, but he was the only one acknowledging the emotions of those feeling disenfranchised by corrupt politicians and an economy leaving them behind. Jobs have gone overseas and we know that a large amount of the workforce has been replaced by automation, but these are people that want to work and not tax the **** out of the rich to support the poor class, so on some level there had to be a discussion on this topic that Hillary was just ignoring. There's so many other reasons as to why he earned a vote or Hillary lost a vote than people looking at this guy and seeing a direct representation of themselves.
Just to make myself perfectly clear, I'm not saying that if you voted for Trump, you are yourself a racist. I'm saying if you voted for Trump, you supported his racism (and other awful qualities). You elected to make this man, quite possibly, the most powerful man in the world.
Also, to say that Clinton was telling people there is nothing wrong in America is just silly and obviously untrue. Claiming that America is already and never stopped being great isn't the same as saying there are literally no issues to be fixed.
