So just making sure... This game is still going right? I got a bunch of people in a kingdom on Chronicles of Elyria that want to start on next age... But it doesn't look like there's a date in sight for that. No big deal if it's not gonna be for a bit, but just making sure a new age will happen one day right?

Heck, start one now. It's free. I think(?). If everyone knows which kingdom to join then I'm pretty sure it'd be free.

See the mechanics so the changes will have context for you. Then just make sure everyone chooses the option to stay in their current kingdom.

Octo is that from Syntico's ledger? I assume not if you got it wrong and I don't believe he records WW crowns (begrudgingly does Honour)

WW is a chart not a crown IMHO. I give it only slightly more credence than Palem's combined chart, and that is only because it has an in game link. I'm not trying to tell grandpa Syntico how to do his job, just commending him on it. I am glad he doesn't count WW, but I wish Honor didn't count the same as Land because lets be real.

How come they started losing after joining ABs?

They won age 22. Sid mostly retired in 23 and was fully gone by the start of 24. Raidan, synt, and crew ran it in 24, did decently but ultimately disbanded in 25.

Pansies more or less had nABS status the entire time during those ages on the real server and had free CFs with, and the backing of Absalom due to me landing there as a random when they were moved to the real server. We didnt join Absalom and taged officially until age 22 but enjoyed the perks of the Absalom tag (cfs with some of the best kds) without wearing it, as well as not having to deal with all the sh*tplay that came with wearing the tag. There was one time were Dios de Absalom decided to go against the rest of Absalom and waved Pansies oop. That created alot of drama in the ABS forums. Then we had the Cheese Group and other anti abs kds constantly courting us (Pansies) to join them which means we were one of very few "solo" kds (guess Serenity would count as another? And our kds were close) who could play solo with success and without getting gangbanged or recieving to much foul play from any side.

The exception was of course the KLA incident and then Absalom was ready to help us vs KLA, but Sid didnt want the help. As everyone remembered it had an rather embarassing result for KLA being one alliance vs one kd and hardly dropping us at all.

Bishop doesn't want to end the age because he still evaluate the horrible Science system that he promised to give about 130 scientist at the end of the age.
But most of the provinces around have about 80 scientists right now. So in this tempo we need about 4-6 more years in game to get there ;)

I hope personally that the science system is changed back, because this has been a BORING age...
No bonus by war wins
Not worth doin "aductions" until late game when you gain 2 ..... yes MAX 2 scientists.

An age where schools and library's has been 100% useless.
The honor top has been low this age where the kingdoms gets bigger and bigger but the overall kingdoms gets less and less.

Sadly our dev team doesn't want to listen to the players and what they wish for, but do what they want. Reason many old time players goes to the other game since they mature and stick out with their game.

Lost 7 players this age due to "no bonus in the warring, long times to get an war since less and less wants to war and the science system has been super boring"

On a positive note, A+ for the Dragon system!

One should always plan to be playing the last age.

I'm thankful to have Bishop and the devs in whatever capacity they serve. The new science has it's own rewards.
This isn't about being a game apologist: moral compass north is that Utopia is a free game.

In my eyes, the only kingdom who can complain with a degree of clout is Emeriti. Every single kingdom has the freedom to take the land crown away. I'm sure many would complain they'd just slap you down as you got close. You have to get close before you can assume that position.
