    8 pt per elite means greater casualties. I know opponents dont bother hitting back in war cos i am killing myself with every attack. Getting hit troops home is a pain and hospitals are pointless if they start the chain with a few razes.

    In a vacuum, yes this is an issue. However, in the context of a kingdom in a war, if your enemy is using generals and MO to raze a dorf, your enemy has bigger problems ahead of them.

    Well they dont hit you first and you are screwed in one wave anyway. I guess specs off r the way to go.

    I don't fully understand what you're saying - elites die quickly because you have to send more out?

    Why would switching to ospecs be better then? Ospecs die at a much higher casualty rate than elites do, plus they are weaker, meaning you have to send more again than you were with elites. This would actually exacerbate both of your problems!
