I'll make a suggestion and not put it here.

However. I don't see how offering a finite amount of sits per kingdom, and finite per USER - because you know, people have lives and the rounds are long - is in any way p2w. This is a team game. They have 1 prov everyone is complaining about, in a 5 man kd? Lame. I think it's cool they are trying something different.

There is no finite number of sits per kingdom. Each province in a kingdom can be sat for an unlimited number of days each age.
The only limits are that you can sit only one province at a time, and that master accounts are limited to 21 days of sitting.

This means that a single individual can play two provinces by inviting new master accounts into the provinces to extend that. As both sitting days and invites cost money, this is by definition pay2win, unless you want to dispute that playing two provinces can be advantageous.

It is also, more broadly and less drastically, p2w to have a province created BEFORE a player is available to play it, so that it can be sat in the interim. A strategy you're fond of and admitted to using in #tactics for your war.

My impression was this has been going on for some time. I'm not put off by the practice, though it wouldn't be something I would do. I play for challenge, and strategic province sitters make for formidable opposition.

In Axis & Allies I ran the axis vs 3 friends and won because I could seamlessly coordinate my armies. As a general gaming rule, it is an advantage. All 3 of those friends have defeated me in single play so that's your opposing truth.

In Starfleet Battles I was part in a group effort vs 1 guy running the Andromedans and he was whooping us but good. We all had X-Class battlecruisers from different races and he had a mix of Dreadnaught, heavy cruiser and mauler.

What you learn is the importance of teamwork, and gaming in such ways let's you see the strength of unity. Additionally, you learn universal tactics by observing the one tactical mind in a vacuum. It teaches you about the inner brilliance of certain individuals with no obstacles of communication or timidity.

8:19 also just got a ww from a shady war with a ghetto. They look to be the same type of kd as 8:13 with a few provs trying to get big, even thou they have more provs now since they made a few?

I remember that kd cause they ran super high offense and practically no defense on a few smaller province start of age and I figured they just wanted to bait ghettoes into farm wars. They tried to bait my ghetto into giving them a button for example but it didnt work. I remember being so tempted to hit their halfers after they explored cause they were the fattest provs on the server, but alas I couldnt :(

You should investigate that kd too Mike. Might be more faul play there then in 8:13 who Zauper cleared?

Shai you realize you need two provs to hit to be able to declare war? So you could have hit to your heart's content as long as you were the only one hitting.

A snatch news if it goes back so far would shown that there was 4-5 provinces from 4:3 hitting 8:19 not just two. And if there is any doubt that it's a shady war just look at that nub "bank" that lost 500 acres. :P

But just both seems shady 8:13 a bit more with just having the minimum required hits for war done.

And 4:3 doesnt seem like total noobs they had a warwin and all so probably should have been able to figure out that giving away button is a bad thing. Especially when it was same sized kd. They were though caught in total suprise. I doubt anyone excepts a "ghetto" would retal 8 times into a kd with 5 bigger provs though.

I dunno, was it baiting that just went smoother then anticipated? Did Metamorphosis keep suicide defense and hit high off provs hoping they would over retal? Had 4:3 hit u first i defenetly wouldnt call it baiting, but if you initiated it with a certain setup (high off low def hitting high off provs that can easy tripple or quad back)), then it looks like baiting. I guess it depends on your intent? And only you know that. I have gotten buttons from ghettoes before without baiting simply cause they arent coordinated and do stupid randoms without thinking about giving a button so that can be the case too. But judging from my earlier experience with you guys this age it looked to me like 8:19 was trying to bait ghettoes (since they tried to bait mine) so I guess thats why I assume its baiting.

This thread makes more sense now if Mike is still in ROO? But he should be happy now then that he also got a farm war?

At first, judging by who seemed the most upset in this thread and not knowing much about who is who, i though Mike and Ovenmitt played together in 8:9 since they looked just like 8:13 and seemed to be competing. But after asking around a little i hear that 8:9 is in fact B-dawg?

Must admit it is kinda funny with the timing of this thread and then 8:19 getting a similar war themselves shortly after. I cant be the only one seeing the irony in that one? :P
