This might be a grudge match: the kingdoms had previously merged for an age or two and parted ways due to disagreement, and several SS members despise Bishop and several RoO members despise Scott250.

The conflict appears to have started when a province in RoO hit somebody in the SS. Since then both KDs have maxed the meter leading to an autodeclaration.

Disclaimer: I've played in both of these kingdoms for many ages (separately) and currently play in neither and I think this is the funniest ****
