Someone would have to work out numbers on the elites and stuff, but I absolutely love the idea of having two personalities instead of race + pers. Being able to go tact + undead would be crazy, or undead + warrior, or rogue + mystic - whatever. It might be the case that some of those numbers become super skewed and need worked out - eg, Heretic + Mystic @ next age's suggested guilds efficiency would have x5 guild efficiency or something

i like this idea too...but you'd probably have to take the best bonus across personalities with duplicated bonuses (ie: guild +100 vs +200). You'd mostly need this in the starting soldiers/credits that many personalities give. So in my head a merge between heretic and mystic you'd get:
All Guilds are 200% more effective
Wizards do not die on failed spells
Reduced thief losses on failed operations (-66%)
+40% Thievery Science Effectiveness
+100% Magic Science Effectiveness
Operation Damage +15%
Spell Damage +25%
+1 Mana
Access to Blizzard, Meteor Showers, Chastity, Revelation and Paradise
Starts with +800 Wizards and +400 thieves
I feel like this would be really hard to balance. You almost have to make the elite really bad... it's a really cool concept though. They could also make a personality that lets you pick two races instead... And really up the number of race/pers combos. My gut would be that you'd have to pick a "main" personality to be able to balance it. Could be really fun if it'd work

Choose, from existing Racial perks, one of each of the following;
- Bonuses (for example, you don't get ALL Dwarf qualities, you have to pick one)
- Military
- Spellbook
and then you would still have to pick a Personality, as normal.
... I will do a trial with current Age 74 perks;

+15% Enemy casualties when attacking
Military(Human):
Off/Def......................Cost......NW

... you could make some pretty sick combos. Here I have a Human army, with Orc kills, and Town Watch (Invis, and IA are just glitter). Make it Undead to keep that offence alive, since it is maybe a bit gimpy at 9 these days. Animated Dead in combination with Town Watch would make being chained a breeze I imagine!
How about instead of choosing one race and one pers, changelings can choose two of anything (two races or two pers)?
Two races? Then halfbreed be a more apt name if that's the case

I think my example of using just 1 thing from each Race shows that having 2 full race perks and 2 full personality perks would be preposterously OP. Besides that, I don't like limiting the military if you are gonna allow flexibility everywhere else. if you can choose 2 races, you are stuck with something like the 7/7 elites proposed initially, no matter what, since you can only have 1 type of elite.
To balance this, you might want to nerf the bonuses from each personality, maybe allow the two selection, but you only get 2/3 of the bonuses (IE, for Mystic, instead of +200% Guild Effect, it would be +~132%) and ect.
But, how do you get 2/3 of "Can cast self spells on Kingdom mates"
Can cast on 2/3 of your KD mates? ;)

Duration is reasonable, I guess.
I was mostly thinking that it's more complicated to implement, which really is a non-factor since its a pipe dream anyways, on top of the fact that I think 2 Personalities is a bit too much power potential, unless you nerf, but then we are back to being a bit more complicated.
Here is an idea for something that could have two Personalities;
