My X wasn't my X yet, so I lost 10 years somewhere along the way. I rejoined Utopia when the wreckage was still smoking from the relationship, and joined seriously a bit afterward. Game came very naturally to me.
And to all you kids: the idea of "making it work" in hindsight is slow torture if making it doesn't work. I recommend a partner in crime as relationship goal. ;)
