Some sort of bug or abuse?

I have recently come across a province which has now attempted to attack me twice. However, when I attempt to attack or even try to get intel on that province, the screen defaults back to my own kingdom with the message:

The province X:X:X could not be found!

I am quite sure this is a bug or someone is abusing a bug. Feel free to DM me for details @Moderators
