Skybound Strike - can anyone explain this?

    Skybound Strike - Active Effect
(Only triggers in War and Hostile Relations) Once activated, the next attack (that meets all requirements BEFORE the next day) will automatically succeed, and suffer no offensive losses. In addition, gains will be reduced based on offense sent compared to defense of the target.

Can someone explain the interest of this? It's great to have NO losses, but you still need to make successful attack....right? And a successful attack doesn't have a huge OFf/Def ratio. I don't get it...

No, attack will be successful but your gains will be reflected what it stated in the end, how much off you send compared to target provs def.

Hi Korp (damn haven't been in a kd with you for freaking years!).
So how is this useful? A successful attack doesn't need this, so it's like a kind of conquest where you succeed and have no losses regardless of the OFf you send? So easy to accumulate small gains at no loss?

Can you go higher than normal max gains by sending a huge OFF?

Hitting someone you couldnt otherwise hit can be beneficial, its probably not super helpful in the long run but maybe when you cant quite break someone.

If you want to discuss things like strategy or such Discord is probably the best bet to get better opinions than mine.
