Age of Tax

You are repeating the same concepts already established and I understand them. I was merely pointing out the fact that your LS said they won the age because they had the insight to pick the correct races (claiming their superiority over other races). If this were entirely true then you would be the superior KD in the superior position you speak of and giving FS extra time would just mean more acres for you. I sort of disagree with the concept of picking econ heavy early age setups so you can tax everyone trying to war their way to the top continuously. Maybe the change I'm looking for here would include some sort of toning down science pumps, no major econ bonuses on races/personalities etc. I'm sure stuff can be done to encourage more wars in every tier, if this is what people want, if you think hitting people that don't fight back because you are in a superior position is fun then go ahead and keep doing that, if you don't maybe join me and try to make the developers implement changes encouraging a different meta.

1) Yes what our LS said is still very much true. Our setup has won us the age. Accept it or cry over it!
2) You want to suggest things and instead of putting it in suggestions thread you create a thread in utopia talk, hype it up and cry over it?
3) Most top kingdoms look to war once or twice an age! That is the most time people allocate to actually play utopia. With more wars, people will feel more burnt out and leave utopia! So again you are just putting up suggestions which Bishop daily ****s out when taking a dump!

4) A different Meta? Do you even try to understand what efforts Bishop puts in to satisfy all the tiers in utopia? Cos from your post you clearly dont!

@Anri would you stop responding to posts concerning crown counts, people just troll you because you make silly excuses all the time

@everyone else would you stop talking about Anri's crown count, we understand, he hasn't crowned, I'm more interested in how honorable he was during his playtime, but seeing how much he cares about crown counts to actually respond that that crap I can imagine on my own, not much different than anyone who keeps bringing it up I guess

1) Your setup has won you the age that much is true, it doesn't mean your setup is superior to say FS's setup, if that was true you wouldn't be so afraid of giving them measly four days of prep time.
2) I think this discussion has been pretty productive, I have received plenty of input from top leaders in this game and came to a couple of conclusions of my own. I'd still like more input and suggestions of what can be done before compiling it and posting it to people in charge.
3) Most top KDs suck that way I have to agree, this doesn't mean they should stay at the top, they have created this artificial setting that keeps them at the top with their sub par activity/enthusiasm.

You prefer logging once a day putting your science from intensive to extreme I get it, some of us might not be too delighted that this is what it takes to be the top KD in Utopia, so I will be posting a suggestion if more solutions come in sight.

@flogger - I do not really understand the concept of giving a kingdom more time after war. The only time I have seen it work is when a much weaker kingdom grows and to lure them in / entice them a superior kingdom gives them plenty time to pump knowing full well war would probably win the age for them and harvesting those acres in war is much better for taking a little bit of acres for cf. personally I have never been given time to pump after winning a war, the kingdoms sitting OOW would just use that time to pump and vulture us.

I remember specifically when AMA and BB were allied and Rage had picked a sage setup and warred BB (a war that Bb had sought out) and Rage ended up winning after 4 days or something along those lines. Immediately after AMA who had been sitting oow the whole time and building unbreakable cows had given Rage notice with the intent of either vukturing or asking for 10k acres to extend cf (this was y4 so 10k acres is massive at that time). I also remember a few ages later AMA warring Pewpew and RBL making massive cows oow and vulturing AMA right after instead of giving them prep time. Direct competitors do not really give themselves extra time. It's really a cat and mouse concept when a strong unbeatable kingdom gives a weak kingdom extra time in exchange for the promise of war knowing full well it will be a guaranteed farm out. It's really difficult for me to be asked for free stuff when no one has ever given any of the kingdoms I was in time to pump after winning a war, they all went in for the kill.

im pretty content with the decisions we made so far, i would pretty much took the same path given the same circumstances.. it took a whole dealbreak that you overlooked, and a 2v1 farm into war for your superior setup and whoring experience to hold us at bay and we are still your closest competitor.. instead of vulturing a kd oow that was gbed by you and dealbreakers, we gave the very same kd a chance for a fair war at the cost of compromising our standing against you - a decision that i am confident in, a decision that i would do the same again.. as pointed out on our talk with you, different goals, different mindsets..

Why so aggressive? I'm merely trying to see if people share my views on how this game should/could look like in the future. You seem to prefer it the way it already is, which is fine, your sentiment is noted, groundless accusations are not welcome by me though. If you would care to elaborate what it is that I don't know and what I am fantasizing about I'd be more than happy to learn, this is why I created a thread like this.
The more we learn about things in general the more we see how little we know.

None of the things you mention happened by Y3 when our cf was expiring, I was planning on engaging you guys but your leadership proactively reached out to offer us acres to extend the cf. We all start at 400a buddy, I don't know what your excuse was Y3 considering everyone was at the same level of preparedness. This deal we have you now was really a favor to you, had we engaged we would have taken at least 2x the acres but instead offered your leadership flexibility rather than trying to force them into a conflict they can't win. Yet here you are complaining. In this instance your leadership reached out to us proactively as well, we did not ask to make a cf, you guys did. Perhaps this is something you need to discuss internally rather than making these QQ posts on the forums.

Kinda interesting how you made the decisions that you did yet you are not complaining. Didn't realize the rest of the server needs to accommodate you when you want to compete and bend over backwards to give you what you want.

You don't have to do anything, you are the ones that keep saying that. You can consider this thread as a survey of the Utopian community on the stance towards the current meta play at the top.

wtf are you talking about? this is my 3rd post in this thread, and im not complaining in neither of them.. citadela is the only other poster from fs that i saw, and he wasnt complaining neither..
