I was under the impression that war doesn't need to begin immediately after button is given...there are a lot of different strategies in this game, those who do not understand just demonstrate they play a very one-dimensional game.

UBs are useful if they can't be FBed effectively and they have provinces they can aid towards semi-UB. In Pewpew's case seems like the UBs are deadweight - turtling and fbed and no provinces to aid out to. No need to take down the UBs. Continue to fb them hard and scare them into turtling and they are good as dead.Quote:

PewPew started the war off in a way basically that ensured they'd go down in acres and with their setup i doubtful that AMA can "win" but winning is a hard term. AS far as i know both kds are still doing the "crown" race so WW or War loss "winning" will be defined in What happens post war.Quote:

No matter what happens I personally think pewpew could of played it "better" by giving away the button during fort stance ~24 hours into the initial stair down. PewPew could have used their initial meter to take AMA to just under hostile by hitting the elfs for land grabs. Let AMA either burn out stealth/mana from fort or leave and eat some real hits when you do your button give away wave. Would of given away the button + pre war emerald and used my Middle tier orcs to 1 tap raze the big undeads to bring them into NW range of my big" orcs. Big orcs then 1 tap the elfs and 1 tap the undeads. AMA then would have needed to chose who to chain, 3-4 (5+? not sure really how "pro" AMAis or the ability to counter a NM wave with RM in pew2) mid tier with no incoming or chain the big orcs. Switch to saphire in war and you hopeuflly had put the eifs down enough to start massacreing them day 2-3 of war. Im a bit more of a risk taker though :D

Persain, Elfs had minor effect all hostile war. Take them down will cost much more time for pew pew and we can use it better too.

The net effect of leaving those elfs up is a MASSIVE advantage to you in war. In hostile yea they are useless because fort gives–wpa and crapy spell length. Its why I’d of given you the button during hostile. Make you actually waste runes/mana on 3 hour MS’s pre fight. A 3-4 hour MS banket for a day does less damage than 6-7 hour Greed blanket for 3 days. Overall though, unless those elfs are/were taken down they will be unbreakable within a very short time. Pew2 doesn’t have enough rogues to AW 4 elfs, nor do they even have enough rogues to NS down your elfs. If those elfs go ub they are 100% safe since you max gained to start war. That is pew doesn't/won’t have the offense or spare acres to try to conquest them down. Nor are their UB’s big enough to hit the elfs and be safe from your top few undeads. The fact that you max gained means your big undeads can begin bounce waving and conquesting down the feary while you control the 2 humans 2v1 with elfs and fireballs. Once you've "controlled" or even semi-controlled their humans you'll grow your elfs via LL on "Dump the crocks" that big orc you shelled out.Quote:

edit...from the looks of what your doing right now and your intell when pewpew took it when you left eowcf it was seems obvious this was the direction you were going. To that end it is very much worth spending time to take down those elfs. The ONLY way you dont win is if pewpew starts growing a bank very big, you arent able to control them with elfs or both sides make major strategy changes from whats currently being done right now.

Persain, We are not this stupid to cast spells from fort stance and make elfs self kill his wpa for noting. Our open wave have noting with max gains. Goal was complete other and its success. Our Elfs casted MS but Pew Pew did same.Loss land wont prevent them from cast any spells. Pew Pew Rogues did decent dmg too.
Both kds keep very hight activity and most ppl hit instant. Few slackers for 10-20 min is all.
Decent damage=/= no ops. You'll continue to fireball their bigs with your elfs for the forseable future. Even if all of pewepw rogues did AW they'd take 2-3 days to get down one elf enough to really matter, at which time u LL grow that elf and act as a bank with 30-35% WT and lots of peasents. In comparision lost land will VERY much keep elfs from casting spells. You take a 2600 elf down to 1100 acres and they drop a lot of def to keep wpa. In addition their relative spell cost/op goes up and they become unable to self sustain runes. You end up with a greater NW differnce when casting, requiring rune aid to cast. Then as you chain pewpew, they'd do 1 tap into an elf and 2-3 taps either max gain or into a chain. After a day or two your elfs are on 600 acres and either 2600*5/600 on like 20 raw wpa and no defense ready to be gutted via free massacres (base gains for orcs massacre in war is 13% wizzards) or they released wizzards to survive and you let them re-grow. By Day 4-5 or so of war doing ^^ all your elfs would be useless and the cows could/would regain peasants.
Now it'll take 2-3 days per elf to hurt them...so day 8-12 of war....to late, as i said before u'll have a big advantage by then.
