FREE vs SPARTANS - war in OOP

My thoughts exactly. First i saw FREE setup and i was like, that's horrible, no way they can win.. Then after a few seconds the coin dropped. Perfect setup for OOP war.

FREE:
6 humans (can have like 5k elites oop)
8 halflings (offpsecs 5/0. so strong oop)
10 elves (def specs 0/5. strong oop)

All their races come OOP very strong because of the spec credits.
Free attackers also resisting the emerald because they are warheros, and warhero bonus also converts specs to elites on succesful attacks. Making it very strong OOP since most your army is specs anyways.

Then again spartans had button, and are 25 vs 24. So they also had some leverage.
I still don't like FREE setup for late age, personally i would reset a bunch of provinces after war. probably get some undeads or orcs..

Also FREE activity is insane. It's just off the charts, everytime i login i see like 16 players online. Crazy. Good job.

Can someone post update after FREE make their war-wave?

I'm pretty new to uto, so you'll have to educate me.. 5/0 ospecs (4 nw) get converted to way less efficient 4/4 (5.25 nw) elites on attack. I'm presuming they'll end up A/T. Why would you guys run with that?! For just the income/dragon immunity?

I *****ed about it for 48 hours and then I moved on with my life. I'm sure if you had been dealbroken and declared on before you were up and ready to war you'd ***** about it for a couple days too. Iirc, your side wanted to take it to the forums and I declined, but by all means, live in your own made up history lol.

You seem to the one trying to have it both ways. You can't both be a UtoLawyer where every little thing needs to be exactly stated otherwise there's no problem and then also hide behind generalizations. You can't say that war terms are generally understood to limit ops to the hostile dates and also claim to have no way of knowing when an OOP war is supposed to happen.

And for what it's worth, I think anything you can get away with (aside from actual, blatant cheating) is fair game, but players are allowed to be upset when something ****ty happens to them. Both can coexist.

i dont think so - ha/wh is too dependent on the honor. surely ha/wh prince is nuts, but against a pumped prov in a top land kd - no chance. ns/kidnap is irrelevant against a prov with 1-2 ppa and 80% elites. And 4/4 is far from UB on demand, especially if u go with ospecs...
this setup is designed to run 15 wh princes and then rule utopia, but if you cannot find enough wars for farming honor you are gone. the server is not with 50k provinces anymore and finding worthy wars is not so easy.

not to mention vivic is cr even wants to get involved they can just razekill their princes before free bulks up with the war hero prince bonuses. = gg

So here is the problem with halfling war hero or elf war hero. You will never a mass tons of honor with them. Because as soon as a attacking elf or halfling get high honor they will be fed on whether you win the war or not. So if a halfling makes high honor they will get honor whored. Inside war or out. So hence they will never amass honor. You will also be out attacked by any avian kingdoms that can't be ambushed. So hence the whole strategy is flawed.

We waved just before war start, full wave 24 provs.




Dishonesty seems to be a virtue in Spartans. Ironic, given the name. The ancient Spartans loathed dishonesty, and if they were here, they would be ashamed to see such dishonesty surrounding their name. :)

Think of it, SHOULD Spartans win, they will never know if they would have really won if they didn't lie and break deals. FREE did a full 24 prov wave in hostile, after Spartans monarch refused to declare war when we had put them hostile, as agreed upon. He said he would drag it out 12 hours, and that he had sent his guys to bed. Vlad predicted this before the war, and the one 40 acre hit we did before the 4th was the perfect excuse for Spartans to claim 12 hour one-sided hostile. Never trust Spartans.
As I said, Heaven said he had sent his guys to bed, so we did full wave, only to find that Spartans declared war 30 min later and did close to full wave. Way to go, Spartans. Trickery was the plan all along, as Vlad predicted. Every time Heaven has opened his mouth, he has been lying, with every word, in every pm.

This way, they got a chain wave extra compared to us.


I piss on Spartans. If dishonesty is your game, then at least be honest about it, don't pretend to be fair.
