login page wont load up for me anymore

I struggled to get to the login page but then it eventually got there and i was able to login.
404 for the main page.

The outage was caused by an unusual number of requests which were choking the WOL server.
We apologise for the extended loss of the WOL server and ask for your understanding given the circumstances. We have basically implemented certain measures to throttle some of the requests but the server is still not performing entirely as we would wish and and we will continue to look into the problem.
The above statement seems to make light of the remaining issues and doesnt seem to factor in the people that still cant even get into or past the login page.
