or your name is gojete. why are ppl forgetting this last clause for PK death?
Listen fools, i had like 250 acres, it was not possible to survive the ammount of hits i received in that hour, even with my 5 million gc . I went to sleep and when i came back i was already dead without notice. It only took like 6 or 8 hours
And it was with raze and out of war.
Im thinking that to kill someone in war is really hard. But the kingdom that fought and defeated the mediocre starcraft , whom by the way keep stealing from me everyday, killed 1 person in starcraft I heard, was this true , or was that another war ?
lol E_Boko wins this thread
you call starcraft mediocore and brag about getting PKed 9 times last age?!?!
Also money does not save you rom PK. There is no Bribe Province op.
Also you need a notice for death? That would be awesome. Excuse me sir, there is a clause in your province that allows me to inflict death onto you. Your name is gojete. 100% chance for PK. Have a nice age :-)
I have a winner it's: Dumbos that cast Town watch after getting chained.
Either last age or the one before we hit a prov down from 1k pezzies to <20 pezzies with TW on... please don't make the same mistake he did, where AFTER getting chained he decided to cast TW.
With 3-5k off sidetaps we hit him about 15x mass down to 20 pezzies (still overpopped so slowly losing pez), then kidnapped him maybe 20-40 times to get him to <10 and he logged on about 4 minutes to the hour to get saved from a PK. If we were a bit less careless about it (since what sort of dumbass casts TW when chained..) could've probably sealed the deal within 5 minutes and called it a day. That was probably by far the least work ever attempting to PK a prov since i started playing again and can't raze to death haha
Effectively we killed 3, but it has to be mentioned that two of those let themselves be killed purposely as they deemed it to be more beneficial to take the opportunity to change race/pers and restart at 400 acres than continuing at 70 acres. They were active enough to stay alive if they wanted to.
Don't know your location Gojete so the robbings are coincidental. We steal as long as it is profitable, so you might want to upgrade your protection if it's still going. Edit: or did you mean Starcraft?
In all of the previous posts, I therefore, You have to change the name "gojete" into "starcraft"
Like in all of this examples, every "gojete" has to be renamed into " starcraft"
And now that you remind me, im going to go cast greed , droughts riots explosions and kidnap some 1000 peasants from braxis again
Examples to be changed form "gojete" into "starcraft" :
doesnt happen. sry. ppl get PK because of inactivity, forgetting to stop wizzie training or if your name is gojete. simple as that.
E_Boko
unless your name is gojete. then you are the master of such feats.
Also you need a notice for death? That would be awesome. Excuse me sir, there is a clause in your province that allows me to inflict death onto you. Your name is gojete. 100% chance for PK. Have a nice age :-)
damn dude you cant even quote correctly? or even try to make it readable? who reads bottom to top?
what a fail...
idk. i think he tried to quote and farked it up. he probably responded to it properly in his head but then majorly failed or his keyboard finally had enough of his crap and just spewed random words on the page instead of his normal thesis.
Well the thing is that you are used to seeing things in a very specific way and format.
I see you more and more like the old computers that used perforated cards . They had to have the exact number of wholes in the exact place so that the computer could read the intel properly.
And so does your brain seem to work.
OK, everyone that is not gojete and gojete, soo... i guess everyone. Can we please stop hijacking every thread to make it about gojete? Seriously. the makes a post anywhere and everyone has to make the thread about him. This thread was really just about PK experiences and the math of PKing. thats it. I don't give a single ...well whatever is most meaningless to you, about what anyone things about gojete, whether it is gojetes self opinion, your anyone elses. I am sure there are many on this forum who similarly do not care. Please stick to the topic. thank you.
Gojete, maybe one day everyones mind will expand to encompass your universe, please stop using every argument they advance that does NOT have something to do with you as an opportunity to bait them into talking about you.
In short, everyone please stop being attention whores.
Sorry guys if this input is already here... but im not reading all the posts before giving my opinion on PK.
First of course it is possible, second I seen someone say it is easier now, indeed easier than it used to be.
We perfected it in my KD, but as alot of our enemies argued, and proved, that you cant kill an active province. (we also proved 1 or 2 wrong)
First in your first post you mentioned, FB etc before the chain... never would I do this. I call people N00bs when they FB someone heavy, then proceed to take their acres... your helping them keep thier army intact.
Your goal for PK would be peasant kill, as gettign them to 0 acres is not gonna happen unless they are inraKD. So this posses the question how do you get them to 0 peasants?
First you need to choose the proper target. If they have long attack times they are more likely to die, if they have 0 acres coming in it will also aid you in your killing them.
Second it takes 24-48 hours to kill a province and alot of attention so if your in a war 25 vs 25 I wouldnt recomend wasting your time.
Now the process... you wait for enemy to attack, he has 0 acres coming in (undeads using war spoils usually my fav target)... assuming they are 1k acres with 25k pop, probly around 9-10k peasants.
Once he sends his army out you chain him to below 200 acres... making his max pop only 5k.... he will drastically be overpopulated so he starts losing massive amounts of army/peasants every hour. (most people defend this by dragon slaying)
By the time his troops get back, his army is either demolished or his is land locked and cannot attack due to over pop... (this is usually your actual goal, not PK)
Eventually they will be able to attack again.... At this point they are hopefully below 1k peasants. when you see them attack again, it is now possible to kill them.
Since thier defense is now demolished....(somtimes 0 def troops left at this point)... you have untill thier army returns to PK that province.... so you start QT them for 10 acres or so per attack, to get them below 100 acres... this makes them now severly over populated AGAIN, and they start losing troops and peasants... except they have no troops to lose as thier defense is gone and thier offense is away. so they loose peasants.
This is where you use FB/Kidnapping, even massacre(dont recomend as you dont wanna kill thief/wizz), to kill off the last of their peasants, usually people release wizzards and thieves to survive, just making it easier to rob and FB thier peasants, also allows use of massacre.
So if they are 80 acres, thier max pop is 2k troops... they probly have at kleast that many in offense (away)... so they continue to lose all thier peasants untill they die.
Active attackers gain 100-300 peasants per attack, so if thier troops come home with acres they will never die.
My 2 cents.
My KD always yells at me for sharing secrets, but I didnt think this was a big secret.
I read some of the posts, and some more or less touch on what I said... but mine is EXACTYLY how to do it...
"i am the master of pk, last age we killed 2 provinces, and I died twice myself,".....
no offense man... we killed at least a handfull of people last age, targeting undeads using war spoils make it easy, especially since they are dumb and will refuse to release elites, yet keep sending them out... even with 0 def specs 0 thieves and 0 wizzies the dumb undead will still send all his elites out to "keep them safe"
they are pretty easy to kill at this point.
Of course, that was exactly what was done in "the old days" as well. For some reason, it seems hard to me to do it now (mostly because raze sucks and it is pretty easy for certain builds to hold over 160 OPA even after releasing so that they can still tap provinces over 4X their size.
what makes it hard is that you gain peasants when you attack now... so if I qt... no matter my land gains i will gain close to 500 peasants usually... instantly.
also people are more organized and can get aid etc... text messages, the works to keep from dying.
but if you wanted to kill someone, and subsequently lose the war I detailed it to the best of my ability.
I can understand the want to FB before chain... as it gives better gains... however then they wont overpopulate much on the first chain. if any at all, and lets face it, then when you fail your PK... youve done nothing to that province but make him a force to be reckoned with the rest of war.
Well I am not interested in PK really unless for some reason it seems that I must. What drove me to the question is the Orc Cleric attacker who can hold 140 OPA even when chained below 200 acres and can still hit and break provinces 4X his size so that in early age wars these guys simply can't ever be effectively chained (or perhaps ever with the gains curve the way it is).
well sheister, my only response to that is do what we do.... dont chain orcs. let them grow get fat and FB them as thier WPA decreases.... thier gains are too good to release them only your small provinces... and thier 9 pt elite is too strong to stop them fro TT QT.... therefore let them grow. And chain Human instead.
minimum desertion rate is 10 pezzies/hour, or at least it was last age. Observed on province ranging 30-100 peasants, desertion rate was consistently at 10 pessies
Thanks for that citadela!
DDS,
yes, I had come to that conclusion. It is a rather lame and pathetic non-solution though. I guess I can only hope the developers fix the problem at some point. If they would just make it so land in progress did not instantly give you 25 pop (contrary to what the guide says) that would solve the problem too. But it does not and they don't.
Dude sheister whats up with your hate man, are you from the haters alliance too ?
If you read the pots, i hadn?t said a damn thing, and when I did, I commented on how i got pked, and then i put the info that 3 provinces in starcraft got pked in a war . All my posts contained valuable information about the subject being treated .
Hate the haters not gojete
It was an equal opportunity rebuke that your latest post has demonstrated the truth of. Please stop attention whoring. thank you.
i happen to be trying to get PK'ed at the moment. so feel free to PM me for a loc.
Sorry Spamely I read your other thread but just about to prepare for hostile... dont need or want the acres, cant afford to send the armies out.
It just depends on how far you chain and how many troops the player has. We had a guy who was running a suicider build with very high offense and low defense, and 9 hour attack times. He sent out at one point, and we FB'd/Kidnapped a ton of pezzies, and then proceeded to drop him 1200 acres in all in a period of about 3 hours. We managed to get him down to about 40 pezzies before NOTHING seemed to work to lower him, but he continued to lose pezzies at about 10/hour and died before his troops got home, 9 hours into the war. Granted, we had 20 people focusing on him for the first couple hours of the war, but he was completely taken out with one "wave'" and had 3 days of protection (By which time we had already won the war).
If his defense had been higher, we probably would've not done FBs/kidnappings, and would have instead just landgrabbed to bring him down and overpop him until his defense left him. Since his defense was low enough to DT/QT already, it really didn't matter that he was only losing 5 acres per hit by the time the first couple of people finished with him, 10x4x5 = 200 (I think he was losing 4 acres at the end, though, although I had thought 5 was the minimum in war)
was his name gojete? cause then it would make sense.
What are you talking about? You know we had the coordination to chain that deep, you yourself said we just choose the targets poorly. We had how many hits taking one of your guys down to 200 acres? A ton of quad-tapping 5 acre hits. Other than the fact we had TWO chain targets during our war with you, we had plenty of attacks on those two, and they were focused. If you weren't running GS, it would have been that much more effective.
-437 acres: Devaluation (4/31)
That was one "wave" by 12 people. It would have been more but several people involved in the chain either only hit once, or weren't even able to hit. If we had all been online and had armies home, it would have been a different story. You guys yourself said that our initial wave was "fairly coordinated" or something, with 16 provs in the initial wave. When we have a plan, we are coordinated. Perhaps we didn't have the best plan, but you can't say we didn't have the coordination for a single deep chain. One thing our kingdom is pretty good at is attacking someone we are told to attack, and we can get quite a few people online for an initial wave if we are expecting it.
Whatever, though, Landro is a liar like half his kingdom, so I'm not even going to argue with him. If he looked at the war honestly, he'd see that we indeed have the activity and coordination to do deep chains. We just didn't have the ability as Elf/Human to withstand deep chains like his Orcs. Even with several of our most active attackers getting taken out of the war in the first 12 hours, we still managed to stay fairly close in terms of uniques and hits. 64 uniques vs 78 uniques min-time, considering considering 6 of our active attackers only managed to make 1-2 uniques due to deep chaining, thats pretty impressive for the circumstances.
And that's exactly the reason why we do run GS. You actually picked the guy who was running the most GS of us all.
There was never any risk of him getting PK'd. Not only did you pick the guy with the most GS, you picked a player with a lot of experience surviving chains (but you couldn't have known that)Quote:

You gave away the button at the start but didn't expect war? Your initial wave was very nice but it was 16 attacks, not 16 provs.Quote:

Plan? You were trying to get a war with a kingdom with 12 Orcs and only one of you was running GS. The reason why our chains were so much more effective is because we had our people hit by net worth. We didn't have 900 acre provinces making a quad against a chained province for 5 acres per hit.Quote:

As I said, the plan may have been been bad, even terrible, in hindsight. But you can't argue that we didn't have the coordination to pull off a deep chain on an un-GS'd target. Well, YOU can argue, apparently, but anyone with a brain would have to admit that we could pull off a deep chain, especially when we have the first wave.
It is sad that you are trying to derail this thread into a conversation about how great your kingdom and plan was, though. Yes, you beat us, very soundly. Move on. We had good activity, despite being chained early and demoralized throughout. Since you don't know what we are fully capable, and even what you saw was enough for us to do what I said we did, try and keep your nose out of business that isn't any of your concern.

Granted, two of the attackers were right after the hour change, but it was 16 provinces attacking with 20 attacks.
I think we've established that your kingdom is better at war. We learned a few things from you. We learned a few things from ourselves that war. We're not interested in a rematch. I just don't see the point in you trying to derail every conversation to try and point out how you won the war against my kingdom. Like I said, we have the coordination and activity to pull of a deep chain. We DID deep chain Deval. We had him to 200 acres. However, being an Orc and being experienced and active, it's hard to get him out of the war completely. Hell, even our Humans that were chained to 150 acres were still making hits, just not as often or as big of hits as otherwise capable of.
Can someone explain what happened to the raze attack that makes PK-ing different now than in the past? I'm an old Utopia player coming back and trying to learn all the differences between then and now. Thanks!
raze in war kills buildings, not acres :(
Its possible to PK a prov, but now-adays I find it basically only happens if someone makes a mistake. Or sleeps. (which tbh, is always a mistake).
