How to move to Canada' searches up 1000% in the US after Trump Super Tuesday win
20%(and a consistently monitored one) poll lead cracked in about two days!
Good. He has a clear mandate to take to the convention.
Still no idea what further miracles he has to take Florida (oldies) , Cali (closed primary), get his wins up to 55-45 ,or NY but he's found a possible key to the Rust belt.
Be interesting to see if he can keep the pressure up on his trade deal voting record compared to Clinton or if MI was just a one off after he caught her obfuscation on his auto bailout voting record.
Hopefully Ohio and IL bode well.
He still needs miracles. A string of them.
With any luck, the GOP will disband for good and we will be able to privatize the government under the Clinton Foundation.
Uh oh. When in doubt, as all utopians know, out comes the gangbang.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...3351&tid=ss_tw
The problem of course is that the GOP alliance is 4-6 on the charts, and they're still getting farmed by 1-3, while ghetto kingdoms rob their gc and join in TRUMP's razekills. Jeb? is stuck in war tier and lost all their honor, LittleMarco is falling out of the top 10.
Oh wells, be interesting to see what they cook up.
GOP is done. Time to start a new party.

Trump's "populist" Tax Plan. TYT should be taken with a grain of salt but hot damn, it's plain as day Trump is all about fleecing as much as he can out of every situation.
I suspect they will go all in around Cruz, try to take it to broken and see if Trump's lead can be whittled down and that his plurality doesn't translate to a majority.
If Rubio does FL, he loses.
If Rubio doesn't quit before FL. Based on MI, Kasich loses Ohio.
I suppose that is a second option.
Get Rubio out before Florida and hope Kasich can take the mid west and then coalesce around Cruz on a Cruz-Kasich ticket?
Be interesting if they can pull it off on Trump losing from here. Cruz is incredibly unlikeable on a personal level.
I should be clear though.
What I think they *should* do is disavow Trump as a demagogue that preys on people's fears, and Cruz is a bat**** non compromising theocratic nutter.
Clinton is a corrupt lizard. She's better than these assholes though.
Lizard vs Wizard was something I got taught early.
The good people in the GOP are being f*cked.
Lil' Marco down. GOP wrecked by Trumpmentum. Hallelujah.
Whatever they do there's a huge risk of it blowing up in their faces, throw Trump out in favor of Cruz, Trump will run independent campaign and republitards will certainly loose presidential race.
Throw both out for Kasich and Trump will run as an independent, most likely they'll loose and they might fracture the party beyond repair.
Go with Trump and they're electing the second coming of Hitler, he might win the race(probably not tho) but him winning might be worse than a dem president for another 8 years even for GOP.
My belief is that if the Republicans line up behind TRUMP, he will win. All of the poisons that lurk in the bog must hatch out, and there is a lot of poison in this ****ed up society.
The #NeverTrump movement wasn't going to work the way it was attempted. Do they seriously think Lyin' Ted gives a **** about their party?
Trump can't win unless Hilary gets prosecuted. Cruz could win if they let him loose in full on "destroy Trump in a debate" and then "destroy Hilary in a debate."
He's bat**** but probably the best attacking legal mind the country.
There is no one who can stand up to Cruz when he's on one and after you in this race.
One on one debate, he will rip them to pieces.
As I am very much not a religious conservative or a GOP voter, I really wouldn't like what would happen if Cruz got a shot in a debate at them. He'd smack them around.
Full disclosure: I'd give Cruz the Scalia seat now rather than let him get a shot at a debate with Trump followed by a debate with Hilary. He will smash them both.
Some people are scary. Luckily he's horrific at being liked.
I heard a rumor that Scalia's seat has already been promised to Obama by the Clinton Foundation.
Octo 4 president.
The most amusing outcome to the current obstructionist policy . =]
It won't happen as Obama will sail off into the multi million dollar speaking sky. =]
To a land even the Clinton Foundation will struggle to afford. = )
Sad, as if the GOP could handle politics like a T50 ghetto, they'd have realised their current policy loses down ticket and SCOTUS. =]
Their choice is : Accept Merrick and lose the court, 1a,2a and abortion and maybe save down ticket , or lose all of that plus senate and a generation . =]
They're fcked.
Dems have won POTUS.
Won Senate. (Probs +3/4 Dem seats at worst)
And if they obstruct , likely to get it up the bum and have a more libreal be nominated to Scotus.
Unless they have a miracle and coalesce now around Cruz. (He's bat**** but would beat Trump and save down ticket votes...possibly enough for a Merrick to be confirmed,)
Ho hum, another Tuesday approaching.
Cruz gonna win Utah big (take all)
Trump likely to take Arizona.
Trump still on course to take the nomination and get destroyed in the Presidential election.
The establishment wing of the GOP still not sure if it should back Cruz to stop Trump.
Pretty obvious if they want a party that they need to go all in on a Cruz-Kasich unity ticket.
Which...will be privatised under the Clinton Foundation. =p
Must be weird for GOP voters to realise that they're now
1/3 Racist/nativists
1/3 Theocratic nutters
1/3 Neo cons who love big business and are an offshoot of Likud
Not weird, but it produces an inevitable result.
I say it's time to break up the big parties and start a 4-way (5-way) melee between Republicans, Democrats, Trumpists, Social Democrats, and the Greens if they can't pick a train to get on. The Lolbertarians are too incompetent to join the party, and the parties that call themselves theocratic parties aren't able to spread outside of their base. The Trumpists are taking most of their potential converts.
Not ever gonna happen as long as the US doesn't fungamentally changes the way representatives are assigned. a "first across the line winner takes it all" system naturally coalesces towards 2 or possibly 3 major parties vying for control.
If you want more variety you'll need to change to a percentual distribution for congress, at the very least for the house of representatives.
I think with the conservative establishment in a permanent minority and the rabble doing whatever, something like that would have to happen. The alternative is the Democrats kick the crap out of everyone at national-level elections forever.
Three way systems are quite stable. The electricity flowing to your house is an example.
The only change that needs to happen is with the voters. Currently many voters vote in favor of name recognition. That needs to be inverted. So if you recognize a name but you cannot name specific great things you like about that candidate then you vote against. Vote anti-incumbent frequently. Three parties is natural because first you vote against the incumbent then you vote against the party that sucks. So the third (or fourth+fifth) is the obvious choice.
You do not need to vote for a winning party to have a large impact. Voting green or libertarian sends a very strong message to candidates that are in office. They have to recognize your concerns or they will lose. Office holders can disregard people who always vote democrat or always vote republican. When you vote third party you influence policy.
Really what needs to happen is to maintain a Liberal as President (such as Obama) who is unwilling to reach across party lines, and a Republican House and Senate, so that nothing ever gets done. It seems the country works best when the government is too locked up to "help us." At least when everything is stalemated business's are able to predict what is going to happen.
Hillary gonna win.
https://www.facebook.com/alisa.wolfe...type=2&theater
In theory that sounds great, but that's simply not how things work, there are essentially only 2 parties, and any vote put on one of the small nonexistant entities are essentially wasted. So people vote instead for the party they least hate because if they vote by their hearts and that ends giving the seat to the guy you absolutely hate you're indirectly responsible for putting him there if the people who had voted for the opposed minority parties instead of the major opposing party.
So in reality you end up with 2 major parties who all migrate towards the middle because that's where the swing voters are and in "a winner takes it all" system only the centrist swing voters really matter, everybody else is irrelevant because they're gonna vote for the party that most closely align with their values regardless of how much they creep towards the center. That results in voter becoming disillusioned and feeling they have no power(because essentially they don't unless they're swing voters).
Besides, look at just about any western democracy, the majority of them have a percentile based assignment system to at least 1 chamber and all of them manage to keep the power flowing. They pretty much universally have higher election participation, even in the nations that doesn't have penalties for not voting and generally their public feels like they can actually influence politics (because they can).

Obvious ****ery is obvious.
Dunno why peeps are even discussing this.
The Clinton Foundation has won it
I do have some sympathy for the Bernie millenials who believe in democracy
And some sympathy for all the working class b*gers who vote Trump that have been boned.
Fact is: dumb ass neo-liberals with cash think they're smart and you're gonna have to suffer Hilary.
Blacks and Hispanics are so beaten down they believe it.
Bright side is that it will trend Bernie now on the Dem race and it'll slowly stop corrupt Centrism. Possibly
And eh, maybe a populist ,centrist who isn't a authoritarian will arise on the Repub side?
Dunno about that. Trump has many flaws, but he is surprisingly in the centre if you disavow his authoritarian leanings.
Indeed.
Hopefully she will just leave it up to Bill to run the country and fxck interns as he sees fit. That'd work. = )
That Hillary won should be a foregone conclusion.
What should depress people is that the bias in media is so blatant, and how opposition is so feeble-hearted.
Populism and centrism are mutually incompatible. You can't really represent the people while suggesting that the American system is fundamentally fine.
Sadly my guess is that if you get the revolution you're asking for, it's going to be a revolution for the elite interests, against the few remaining freedoms of everyone else. Then who knows what - probably nothing, because there would literally be no opposition to the one extremist ideology that is permitted in our current system.
I've been wrong all thread but I'll call it again... Trump will win the general, despite your expectations and my wishes. All of the poisons that lurk in the bog must hatch out.
This is not true, my main noobium man.
You can be both populist and centrist.
As..most of the US actually is.
How many people do you know in the US who don't love their country as patriots?
I'd bet not many.
How many in the US do you know that don't want a shot at the dream just because of where they were born?
Not many I bet.
The US at heart, from my point of view , has always been at best a meritocracy. A democratic one.
It's had poor moments , like civil rights, etc in the past, but all countries in the West bear that burden.
There's nothing wrong with saying that free markets make money and lift up lives , while saying they also have to be regulated.
That's the fair part. Both come together. A free market but a fair market.
Is there poison in America at the moment? Undoubtedly so.
That poison comes from the market having been free but unfair.
Hard working Americans have seen their lives erode despite being law abiding hard working citizens who love their country while their jobs have been sent overseas to increase corporate profits .
That's f*cked up.
Now, do I agree that the Southern start, superdelegates and msm narrative has hurt Bernie's political message gaining traction?
Of course . Start the race in the Pacific states and remove superdelegates and the narrative becomes different.
That said. He will keep the lizard tracking left to fight him off, and people will come up with new Nordic capitalist solutions to move the Dems left but keep them socially engaged.
Trump or Cruz ain't winning this election. And if the millenial Bernie votes stay engaged, they can start taking Senate and House votes back from the highly engaged tea party conservatives.
Well that or there will be a "Muslim enforcement " patrol car in every city and the Dixiecrats will win. =]
I see Bernie is winning the Union tonight.
Maybe Clinton vs Cruz for Confederacy president.
Bernie vs Trump for Union would be best?
=P
Not just winning but crushing.
If only Bernie could crush in primary elections. He's not done so well with votes, only blowout I can recall was NH. Bern has to win blowouts in most of the states from here on, and that is not happening in NY for sure.
Bit peeved by CNN's continual reminders about the white vote, while forgetting the Clintons' obvious advantage in the south.
The primary system really ought to be reformed after this cycle. One national primary, rather than the private organization primaries being made into the clown show they are. The multi-year election cycle is ridiculously expensive.
Clinton's southern advantage after the primaries is irrelevant. Those states are voting Republican, even if it's Hilary vs Trump. That's why it's not being discussed. As far as CNN is concerned, Hillary won the primaries in April of last year, when she declared that she was running for presidency.
I know that, I'm saying CNN is pushing this "white guys for Bernie, black guys for Hillary" thing as if it were an axiomatic truth, under which is an implication that all this socialism talk is stuff white people like because white people are out of touch. At least that's how it comes off to me; I mean, I get that Hillary's support with blacks is a real thing for real and understandable reasons, but it's about CNN and the media in general and how they've framed it. It's not just partisanship for Clinton, it's feeding into the notion that black people only care about black issues that still resonates today.
I'm just glad they stopped saying "Telling It Like It Is" as a codeword for conservative racism / assholery, though I guess that's because the Trumpening is upon us.
There is no way the GOP can run anyone but Trump, contested convention or no; that's the beauty of this. Even more hilarious is that wizard Cruz has positioned himself to be the GOP's preferred candidate, and if they do reject Trump, a significant fraction of the GOP are done for good. There's no sense among those people that voting R is necessary for the greater good, unlike Bernie who will absolutely refuse to be a Nader.
http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/...one-of-sanders
So, uh... if you attack Goldman Sachs, you're attacking Hillary? Is that what this is about? Way to stick your foot in your mouth guys.
Also I'm reading about voter de-registration and ****ery in NY as well.
Strident Harpy Hilary Clinton reluctantly agrees to engage in bilateral talks with weak socialist Bernard Sanders over the future of Brooklyn province . = )
Or sumfin' like that.
Ethics scholar Donald Trump today noted that should abortion become illegal, women who have abortions should be liable to criminal prosecution.
He since was forced to retract this statement as only the doctor would commit a crime should abortion become illegal clearly.
Or sumfin ' similar. = (
Some of the strangest **** I've ever heard. Either it's legal or it's illegal. And if it is illegal then the woman who chooses to do so is committing a crime.
Personally, I'm massively pro abortion up to 22 weeks. After that illegal. Because that's when babies can survive with strong medical help.
Between 20-22 weeks is the grey area for me as medical advances may make it possible and I think a woman should be able to choose in that area.
