I don't think most n00bs would realize this as being a bug, where I hesitantly chose Sage this age hoping to take advantage of having a lot of scientists... To get none in my opening attack was definitely a let down, but hardly something to quit the game over.Quote:

Good on ya Mr B to do something for all those who lost scintists, it really was nothing less to be expected, and it would really have made a portion of players just leave the game if not fixed. No bs.
Well they're "fixing" it again. Let's see what happens. It'd be just as unfair to my guys if they lose all of the scientist they gained. We always planned on going for sci, it's not our fault there was a bug.
Now what happens when that kingdom waves back with our armies out. Now we get double screwed?
I understand with big changes like this there are bound to be bugs that need fixing. But the fact that initially there was no word about what is being done about it (and we still don't know, waiting for the server update atm) i think is irresponsible. Also if you're going to roll out such a big change why not save the server right before oop so if something does go wrong you can roll it back 1-2 hours?
Edit: so I got 2 scientist back which is fine but I'd just like to point out that as a Sage with scientist protection I probably shouldn't have lost any scientists to begin with this early in the age. Again picking sage was apparently a huge mistake.

So now the fix is in and my guys are saying the wrong scientist were taken back. They lost some that were already there. Smh

At least one of my guy kept none he gained. So now he's lost mil stuck with army out and nothing to show for it, because we planned to wave for sci and some people who probably had a crappy def anyway lost scientist. If they wanted to protect them so much I could of swore that what universities were for....

we're a warring kd. We took sci to not get fat and make then mad enough for war. So yes that little bit of mil does count this early and while the meters still up they now have the advantage. I'm done complain though I wasn't gonna quit and wouldn't care if a bunch of other did. More farms for us lol. On a serious note tho small test age sound good. Find the bugs let players experiment a bit. Give new players a chance to learn a bit.Quote:

Now 0 scientist on a +hr hit. Also why was experience reset on my scientist? Per Bishop all scientist gained through adbuction retain experience. Way to go Dev's you nailed that one.
