Current kingdom is VS DBing SpartaEz enough Bart (X:XX)

You must be seriously deluded if you think Sparta ever agreed to a termed CF with this KD. There was never more than an in-game CF, which was broken like 2 weeks ago by my steward without any response from Gangsta.

If Gangsta was so confident of there being a termed CF, why did he not contact me in YR4 asking why the CF was broken in the first place.

1. He asks me for a YR8 CF --> message ignored.
2. Guy in my KD steals a few gold coins.
3. Messages me again:

+threatens to hit our cows (nothing mentioned about YR8 or any other terms)
4. I tell him to send over a CF and I'll accept.
5. Guy responds claiming it's a YR8 CF like all his competitors got. He also tells me that "if anything changes you will get notified about any changes."

ZERO response from Sparta. CF was broken like 1.5 weeks later (0 response from Gangsta on this).

So according to some here through this we agreed to a YR8 CF, but if Gangsta notified us of any changes we'd just have to go along with it :D ?

Let me see if I got the timeline straight:

1. Sparta steals from GaNgStaH
2. GaNgStaH goes diplo for a CF, at this point no terms are mentioned.
3. Sparta agrees to CF
4. GaNgStaH send a message stating that the CF he sends comes with conditions: "Its a term CF to YR8 just like all yours competitors got so you dont have to worry for any feeding out."
5. Sparta accepts CF in game later.
6. Sparta breaks CF
8. couple of weeks later starts hitting GaNgStaH, long before Yr8
7. Sparta claims that there was never a CF in place:

Yea I was wrong on that, there was an in-game CF. Still doesn't change anything. I don't care if he claims he wants to keep it to YR8 (or another date if he changes his mind).

Sparta never agreed to a termed CF. If my memory isn't failing me, I do recall that I was the one sending him the CF offer (even though I asked him to send it). He then sent the message and accepted the CF.

so cute how bart try and explain his dealbreak away, truth is had this been kingdom like CR he would never have acted like this as they would have had the power to do something about his ****play, bart is knowen in UT for being a guy you cant ever trust, im afraid this is just yet another proff of this, im supriced people keep trusting deals made with him.

My own kingdom has a deal with him, but do we trust he will uphold it, hell no, that is why we made sure to involve others in the deal made and made it pretty clear they are exspected to help up uphold the deal if he breaks it, something they where hard to get to agree on to begin with, but in the end a clear deal and they have interest in him keeping the deals he made, just like if he breaks any deal with any kingdom we promised to help he would feel the full wrath.

Sadly a loner like this has not the same options.

Let me put it like this, if this had been done to my kingdom Bart would be sitting green.

I highly object against a meta whereby one-sidedly put forth terms are put in place without any response.

Truth is I hardly recall this situation. For all I know I might be wrong about us sending the CF, and it was simply me during a ****break at work accepting a string of CFs without checking my PMs after the KD asked for it. I simply don't know. But I'm not gonna hold myself to **** I didn't consent to (same with TNB situation last age).

Anyway he hasn't done this intentionally, at least I don't think so, no that I trust Bart much but there WAS a guy in our KD looking for a random hit on someone, so he found this guy through target search and wanted to hit, we noticed we had a CF from before to which Bart replied it wasn't termed so I broke the CF a day afterwards, some days after the same guy made the hit, that could have ended there, not sure why it complicated - all these FSU threats are new to me. To me it seems like a classic - breaking CF means you DB but what do I know, I don't see why we would intentionally DB a guy that we didn't even know existed until one random guy found a random target to hit. Not that all of this means we actually unintentionally deal broke him - that's a negatory too from what I can see, nothing was consented or it would already be in the forum, right?

We almost LDed to your KD this age, did we not? From what I know Bart was in talks with Steel to do so, he can confirm/deny. That broke down so I don't really know. From all that you say can you infer why it would be difficult for a KD like Sparta to simply LD into war tier though?

Funny how the biggest scumbags and cheaters in uto come out here and call us scumbags. Sparta has ALWAYS played legit and clean. It's just that many KDs cannot accept we're better than them so they hide behind imaginary CFs and call us dealbreakers.

There are only 2 KDs that have a claim toward us having DBed them, and those are Div and FS (although in the case of FS, I'd say it's more debatable than Div). In the case of Div we got GBed, in the case of FS policed into giving back the land. All the other KDs could NEVER substantiate their claims. To be clear, let me post an example of what real CFs look like:

This Gangsta + Flogger KD isn't a ghetto, just as RoO isn't a ghetto. Ghetto's are made up of players who have no clue what they're doing and have no real sense of meta either.

So we have established now that Gangstah sent terms and Bart either sent or accepted a CF after that.

I do think it can be reasonably expected that you are reading the PMs Bart. So if your actions (sending/accepting CF) suggest agreement to something in a message, it is reasonable to expect you reply to the message saying "I'll CF but not to yr 8" or whatever.

I see why Gangstah is annoyed that he has been misled.

It wasn't me intentionally misleading him, it was merely us not caring too much about a 1-prov KD, until said KD threatened to FSU after a 1-time hit of 150 acres.
