FS and ED were not competing for anything that age, it was the AWar age. Maybe you mean/mixed it up with the age prior don't know wasn't there age 64, joined FS age 65, but that was a 1v1 conflict so an entirely different example anyway. What difference does it make even if it were true?

To be fair, I've never seen the likes of CR etc back down if the small KD continued with threats, why would they? CR has often forced the CF by brute force if need be, and as long as the CF offer is there and the small refuse to take it, it is still classed as hostile if we go on past engagements...
Why should/would Bart stop the hostile when a fair CF has been offered, you can not demand free acres back etc. from a huge disadvantage and threatening with 17 days hostile, that indeed means its still hostile and Sparta/CD need to close it first.
And yes ED/FS had history before their 2vs1 from the previous age, BB ended up paying for Pyro for the double, and people were nearly all in agreement that as long as meter was hostile both sides it was still a hostile, while a few was saying no hits 12+ hours was no longer, that said there was no "decent" CF terms to be hard between FS/ED while Barts last CF seems fair, that is ofc up to CD to judge but again can't claim its not a hostile while meter is near max and threatening.
Im going on past engagements that was decided highlighted in these forums.
I'll start by saying i'm no fan of Bart or Sparta,
but...
Sparta go looking for acres for a cf, we might not like it but its part of the game, CD refuse and fight back to a point that the meter is that high and/or that they are all out of range of sparta that they cant hit anymore. At this point sparta offer CD a cf which is free with a duration and CD refuse this stating that they are going to op Sparta for the next 17 days.
Why would sparta stop,
CD wont close relations so hostile is still active,
What am i missing here?

My favorite part about the land for CF they wanted at the start of this all. If the Bartan's waved us when we left fort, actually ran decent military numbers on their humans, and didn't go out of their way to specifically target honor with their hits. They EASILY could have gotten the 10 or 15% they initially wanted. We offered them their first wave, to take it and move on. Instead? Wave into full fort(1 tick OoW), wave a kd with plenty of out of range targets, target top honor, gain only 4% of land. Ask for 15, 20% of land (3-4 more waves?). Their demands, the way they went about it, their follow through. They went out of their way to make sure they would do as much damage as possible, while gaining as little as possible, so they could demand more.
It's like a mugger hits you in the shins with a pipe, while your down, he takes your sentimental watch, takes your wallet out of your back pocket. He looks at the wallet and the picture of you with your family. Say's he's going to come back tomorrow and hit your family's shins with his pipe since your watch wasn't good enough for him, unless you agree to give him a better watch tomorrow, your father's more expensive sentimental watch. He gives you back your wallet that all awhile had more money than either watch was worth.
It's like the mugger hits you in the shins with his pipe when you're walking to the bank to cash a cheque. He knew you were going to cash a cheque, and that on your way out of the bank you would have had more money. But on your way in, he mugs you anyways just for pocket change. You decide to deposit the cheque instead of cashing it, then when you come out of the bank with shinguards and a club, he pulls out a gun and shoots you in the kneecap. Again, if he just waited for the man to leave the bank, he could have gotten all that money.
Bart isn't interested in the land, he's interested in inflicting as much pain as he can, if he cared about the land, he would have taken the land, played in a way he could have gotten the land. He deliberately acted and played in a way that caused ill will, and in doing so, we will use the game mechanics to do what we can. Just like he is in razing us.
That might be correct bananamancer2000 however it also means Bart is still in active hostile and allowed to prove the point..
You can't demand a CF and when it comes you refuse to accept it claiming hostiles aren't legit, CD is the KD thats refusing to CF, so Sparta is indeed in a dragged hostile that they can't walk away from, it doesn't matter if CD is in a war, its CD making the threats now, not Bart.
Accept the CF and both move on seems the reasonable and logic choice, refuse and threaten CD leaves Bart no way out other then continue to raze/dismantle your KD until a CF is reached.
(Not taking sides before the whine comes, just explaining it from a logical point of view)
You're missing the fact that CD has no reason to accept the cf. What's going to happen? It's not like their age is going to be a stunning success if they accept the cf lolQuote:
