Anri did what was best for his kd, that's always a good thing in a monarch. Respect for that Anri, if not much else in this situation. Apology accepted, but we are quite disappointed all this talk and no war out of it.
Now, who else in this thread bashed my kd... =P

We should never have gone down this road in the first place. So apologizes from Simians to Cats for being the jerks we are. Now Simians is leaving this behind and look forward to end this age in better manners. People can think what they want about this but Cats obviously deserve an apologize and we all ready got ours from Elurin. So i am swallowing my pride and say that Calle and me ****ed up majorly on our diplomatic end.

Taking things too far is hardly remarkable -- almost everyone does it. I mean, who doesn't over-extend themselves on a bluff in poker, deal out too harsh of a punishment to their kids, walk off a job when they really need it...

As much as I appriciate your support/opinion sharing (most of it I agreed on) during this conflict and as much as we wanted to war, there has been a decent convo between our KDs with the outcome you can read in here.

Yes, we had every intention to war and are sad we didn't get it.
That being said, Apology accepted and glad we worked it out.
PS: Simians has pretty decent thief defense. I didn't try robbing until our conflict, so I don't know how easy they were before...but don't expect easy gc from them now. :p
It's never good to make such statements as Korp shows, it creates the choice (in this case) between hurting own kd or losing credability for future threats. I dunno how much Anri really regrets but he put his kd above his personal pride, which was the part I respected, not the statements/threats.
I will always do my job when its about the KD.
I know i did the right thing for many reasons.
I dont have a need to tell the public about why i do this or why i do that.
There is a lot of things happening behind the curtains and in the KDs that is impossible to tell in here.
Both Cats and Simians sorted a CF out and both me and Elurin apologized. The public really does not need to get mixed up in personal diplomatic matters between two KDs. They can sort their own **** out. This was just a few "normal" days for Simians because were always out there and getting drawn into conflicts. Its how we play and enjoy the game. Dip is best done between two people only or between two KD councils. Not in a public forum!
But it's so much more interesting to the rest of us when it's in a public forum. And also drama is involved.
