Sparta apologized for jumping the gun during the earlier negotiations, and should've been more heavily involved in finding a diplomatic solution afterwards.

Yes, I saw the news on IRC. A clean slate is the best solution.
Experiments are ongoing. So for me, the age countdown is not one of anticipation but how long I have to see a strat in all its glory.
Human cleric: success. albeit an acre addict.
Orc mystic: effective in microcosm(chained, not massacred enough). with enough time I can grow and pack double effect guilds on the journey with t/m breaking offense in tow. Obviously not a durablility icon, it can 2 stage rather well.
So in summary. Conflict between wsk and CR and in the end, Spartans profit.
Did I get that about right?
