@Thunder TA unless you want to come see for yourself, your opinion is irrelevant on what we as an alliance are. Any historical prejudice is irrelevant to the present, and Diamonds is the "Founder", not the leader. Each individual KD is their own entity, no KD tells another how to conduct their biz, that's not how an alliance works. I wear no one's mistakes but my own.
@Korp that's subjective; for me, Utopia is all about teamwork, strategy, combat and community. I've never held a grudge nor plan to.

Ive dealt with AoD and Diamonds probably as much or as long as anyone in this game, So yes i probably do have as much a relevant idea on how he operates.He himself will admit to that.He contacted me right after he came back to playing as not many remember him from the old days.
Ive Also been hit with doubles,hits into wars and other mess the last 2 ages that hes also aware of because i went to him with it when it was pulled on us.
You are sadly mistaken how alliances work,Having led one of the largest alliances kd wise in this game many years ago.They fly your banner you pay for their actions. You can throw that around that we are individuals all you want. When 1 kd acts stupid and **** plays everyone of you gets blamed and Diamonds first and foremost as the "Founder" Leader or whatever you want to call him. Hes the one normally recruiting ingame that ive talked to and the one that defends it here when its in trouble.

2 ages ago I had an arranged war with AoD kd A and AoD kd B hit us right before the agreed war start date.
Last age they threatened us into joining their alliance or they would wave us (we declined then smashed them in a war).
AoD has a looooong history of shady and bullying play, there's posts from zauper over a decade ago saying the exact same things. Diamonds, and by proxy, all of AoD has lost their right to reasonable doubt long before any of this started.
All of the people talking against AoD aren't just making it up out of thin air, you may just not be privy to the shady dealings.
Swagger and Thunder I have dealt with many times and run legit clean kingdoms. If you guys ever need a hand let me know. As for AOD, it's the dumbest thing in the world to think actions of AOD members don't effect you. I have had the same experience with AOD, always threatening us, hitting into our hostiles and even wars. Garbage warring kingdoms that can't stand on their own two feet and need to **** play to win.
One more time for the masses; We are not the sum of past mistakes and regressions. Thats KD A and Bs mistakes, not AoD's. Seriously, like wow this isn't hard to comprehend. You cant close your eyes about the past cause you feel its prudent to do so. Its is relevant for how people percieve it. Even if you are clean that necessarly wouldnt make the whole alliance "clean". Agreed to war proposal, then massacred mystics 24 hours before agreed date, before our mystics changed builds (really ****ed). justified it by saying our tms were too strong, when they had 2 more provs and way more offense in the first place. His KD seemed nice enough but damn man....
What is the point of a war proposal agreement Diamonds? Why would someone ask if you want to start with points or a proposal if they don't think there is a difference in expectations?
Am I crazy or is it a legitimate expectation that a KD won't hit to 14 pts, 24 hours before an agreed war start, especially a war proposal agreement?
And can we talk about the spam to join them all age? Sometimes with threats, sometimes acting as if they are the friendliest bunch in the server...
two lessons here
1st) aod involved in another fake war
2nd) forced mergers don't work (which most told game devs)
There has been no forced mergers though besides the ones that always happend at start of age.
On the topic of fake war but slightly off topic anyone think the war between 8:2 and 8:4 might not be real? at the very least it looks like a severe abuse of mechanics. Neither kingdom was full from the start, and it is the 2nd ww for 8:4 I think their first was vs 1:10.
Smells bad and I hope there will be some mechanical changes to wars and ww bonus soon when I see such a war, 8:4 is one kingdom that deserve their every action looked into, oh and none of the kingdoms are tagged AoD.

All I am saying you dont get to wash your hands clean of your founders sins they will haunt him and his alliance. You can be real girl scouts now for that matter but it wont change the past and how people look at Diamonds and AoD. Reputation is not so easily washed white again. Plus when things like this happend, getting deleted for fake warring, all other stories mentioned above happens it will just stain it further. Since AoD came back, there have been several instances where people have complained about double hostiles and gbs and the like. You repeating yourself about how it's all rainbows and butterflies isn't going to change the fact that Diamonds has a reputation, AoD has baggage, your recruitment practices lend themselves to acquiring 'bad eggs' (though thats exactly what Diamonds wants), and that there is a slew of kingdoms with bad experiences with AoD over the last couple of ages.

My impression of the alliance is it's there in the least offensive way.
Perhaps Diamonds feels a need to represent, but the essence of the alliance is casual kingdoms. If Diamonds wants to create, or is in the process of creating a flagship kingdom(s) then I suggest that be made into a structured objective.
My advice is this: a couple(one) of flagship kingdoms is a cool idea, but the strength of any alliance is in the Jack-in-the-Box provinces you can expect reliable service. That is, you want guys that will pop out of nowhere to strike the enemy. My only interest is the preservation of the old kingdoms. Top feeders. People that know how.
This might seem a bit harsh in mixed company, but it's how Remote1 hurt AMA. This is what the great alliances have done before and are willing to do, even in today's microcosm. Spies can be anywhere so relying on kingdoms is unreliable. This doesn't mean people like me are suddenly evil, it means we are willing to protect what we enjoy about the game. I can't aid shady shoddy diplo, so these things in the asking must be noble.

Because it's not my place to judge nor sentence any member of this game for breaking the rules, my only issue is that the majority, not some small part, of us have nothing to do with this issue. AoD is not an alliance that has any intent to cause harm, but instead better the game.
As mentioned, many Kingdoms are invited and many join and that means a lot of players and Kingdoms. With that, yes some of those may be bad players or do stupid things, but that should not reflect upon the whole Alliance. If it was a warring Alliance and the objective was to get war wins and shady things went on, then yes, you could probably tar the alliance with the same brush.
But as an Alliance that looks to promote game knowledge, and fair play, even if (and some of the things i have read here have no proof at all despite your accusations) some Kingdoms in AoD perform badly, the result is not for AoD to be disgraced as a whole, but instead to have the appropriate punishment dealt and then further promote the best things about the game and fair play within it.
All i can see from a lot of people bashing AoD is "Yeah things happened 10 years ago, or one province did so and so. So the whole Alliance must be sh*t and destroyed". If you ask me, it's stupid and childish. Mistakes can be made, but lessons can be learnt. If you don't accept that then so be it. But stop whinging bout stuff you make up.
