Actually, you know, that's one of the best suggestions I've heard as of late. It's simple, but kinda useful. We can't really calculate it out by hand currently, and it's useful information for a monarch to have in figuring out who's useful to a kingdom and such. Generally there are a few economic stronghold provinces which focus on the funding/slaying, but it'd be nice to know if someone was skimping on their job.
Just to make sure: humans and faeries keep tog?
oooh just thought up a good question, now that ALL units attack dragon with highest number strength do solds deal 2 damage if u have the 2/0 spell cast?
Avian’s need SOMETHING… An econ boost or some sort of ops buff/defense to make up for hitting like a wet paper bag. + Income 10%, or 20% reduced casualties… I dunno just throwing something out there.
The only thing that seems off about elf’s is the elites are pretty expensive and far as t/m races are concerned the have more cash issues. Maybe drop to 750?
As for humans drop income boost, and maybe decrease population penalty?
Increase elite cost for UD to 650 or 700?
If Merchant needs a spell like the other personalities then add immunity to income penalties.

People please stop asking to buff faeries... elf and faeries have different roles and +30% damage is very nice. You don't need the + WPA for spells like FB to take advantage of + damage. The WPA is more for NM and MS, which + damage does not apply to. Extra mana is more valuable than +WPA if you ask me. IF you want to cast spells on other t/m?s role an elf, if you want to focus ops on hybrids and attackers? roll a faery.
I do have one question about ambush though, if faery elites are 4/5 what is the ambush value 4 or 5?
The ambush value is 5. Similar to an orc leet's ambush value being 1.
Would love to see the dragon log, would simply save me counting it every war myself.
Let's just remove the Throne Page aswell then, you can calculate your own offense/defense points. While we're at it, let's also remove the npa indicator.Quote:

This is the whole argument for how a lot of the utilities provided by angel, pimp, stinger should be built into the game.
It is also why KD use IRC and the idea that what seems like a lot of KD do not use IRC blows my mind. You can get stinger browser add-ons so every time you do anything it reports & records it. You can go in your IRC channel and !dragonstats points lists out who did what damage.
Yea, that crap should be built into the game, but it is readily available and has been available for years now - if you chose not to use the tools available then I don't really know what to tell you.
I rarely play hafling, but they need the 2/2 soldier back. ITs not like its huge, but with all these massive bufs all over, they need it back.
IF they do all the slaying, their TB will get killed off anyway, so minor..
As much as I trash on Halfling, I think it's plenty playable. It's more that Halfling is played in the worst possible way unless they're in growth kingdoms, and even good players overvalue them. The changes to slaying and the weakening of offenses gives them a considerable margin of improvement. I still wouldn't play them in ghettoland, but they're a lot more viable for (good) warring kingdoms. Fae still looks a lot better unless playing with something like 12 a/t and being willing to suck up several dead halflings every war.
Fix all the bugs before make changes. Its so dumb.

It is deeply annoying and no racial or game mechanics will change this. Fix the damn game once and for all. Jesus ****. Make the game function before worrying about balance between races and other stuff.
And if you gonna play around with game mechanics get help doing fixes that needs to be looked into not stupid things like this.
As one of the old dinosaurs of this game i am very dissapointed yet another age and this will not help the game forward at all. First thing you wanna do is fix all bugs and other errors the game is showing then you can start looking into changes that acctually the people feel needs to be done.
I am losing hope
lol its been reported so many times and its deeply annoying how it gets overlooked. Its even auto sends some of the errors. Sometimes entire kds dissapear, other times you get kicked out to lobby or get different error messages. Its worst when opping same target. One war it took like 20 tries before i even got army out. A task that should been made in 1 minute costed me 10 minutes. Its been like this for ages. People care about changes more then about a working game.

I was thinking... in the proposed changes human and sage got buffed and human/sage become strong combo but is it good to give amnesia only to sages? I think if you don't want elves to have it give it to avians.
I think it would be cool to have a dragon log, and gain honour for dragon funding / slaying
Even cooler would be a separate set of titles for dragons
One of the most annoying and counter intuitive thing in this game is when a heavy attacker becomes a super TM after being chained. Orc land lusting bigger elf or NSing halfling is simply beyond funny. To avoid this, I suggest to remove most of offensive spells/ops from attacker races and make mystic/rogue only (elves might keep more spells, haflings - ops, as it's "usual"). This would avoid such absurd situations and make mystic/rogues a little more useful (they need that after being nerfed age by age).

I think it's good that chained provs get a TM boost. NW limits their effectiveness and chained well they will lose all thieves quick and need help with runes. Overall it makes wars less linear an a bit more complex which is better. Just drop some massacres to those so called super TMs. TMs can easily do it with their new off and chainees should have now def anyway.
Really? How often do you see chained TM gone berserk? Without an appropriate build these leets will be wasted soon enough and make prov easier to be chained even more. Of course, they can feed on other chained attackers, but it's not like their off goes through the roof.
The reason behind changing Fae and Elf elites is to make them more capable of recovering from being chained by turning into hybrid attackers if they were smart and had elites to begin with. Naturally Fae would have already, but Elves benefited less from using 3-point elites for defense and thus had less elites on hand to recover with. This change gives ALL RACES a reasonable ability to recover from being chained if played right.
Spot on change, no more blind assumption that "once you chain a T/M they are done" anymore.
How often do you see ghetto TM's get chained and still try to TM on 400 acres? More often than not. They should be quadtap maxgaining for 100 leets and being sat on 100 dpa. That and they should have 100% LL success rate before releasing those wizzies so should be able to tank any chain coming at them just fine...

Faerys would be chained less if they had a 1/5 elite instead of a 4/5 elite to me. The extra added offense on the elite value only adds Networth making them less networth efficient on defense. Just my opinion.
Good Changes overall. Avians seem a little weak with -10% gains, maybe strengthen the birth rate bonus.
wtf are people smoking? elf and faery can do a lot more against a chain than before, but it's hardly a position i'd want either to be in.
an actually good elf and faery are able to manage being chained better than badelf and badfae, has been that way for a long time... so yeah, t/ms "go berserk" regularly, because they have to. there doesn't need to be ridiculous arbitrary rules for chained provinces, when people just do stupid crap and don't think about how to shut down chained provinces after they are down for the count.
i don't think avians are necessarily underpowered with -10% gains either, not with raze and massacre being tweaked. avian cleric is bad but avian cleric has been bad for a while now, and its rationale is a stupid one to begin with.
