finally munkbot won over flogger!! :P congrats.
CF was to expire on Jan 1 YR3 so we prepared on time for conflict. We shot up banks pretty late, which Emeriti countered by making their faeries larger so they could remain unbreakable and out of range.
What was also very unfortunate, 36 hours before CF expired, 4 of our provinces got hurt pretty badly as we took 12 hits (4x TM, 8x plunder) from a kingdom that knew we where going to war 36h later and took advantage of that. We've lost GC for ~2 dragons with that. That was also the reason for some of our provinces to run with an x-number of offense specs instead of elites. That same KD hit Emeriti 4x (I think) roughly 12 hours before they hit us.
I'm used to loosing resources prior to a war, but never this much.
What we hoped for was being able to keep both our halflings unbreakable. To achieve that, we razed Emeriti's biggest avian twice when CF expired with the goal to kill his offense enough. We only partially succeeded as the # of kills was relatively low with the high BE and high hosp on the target. Secondly, one of our halflings lacked resources to get ready on time, which got that province to still be broken and razed during the pre-war period, and trad marched later.
We mostly did the right thing in war, but we made a few wrong choices during war. Outcome may or may not have been different, we'll never know. I think some of our chains where pretty brutal though! :)

Since razes in war aren't aren't destroying acres but just land, the pre-war razes aren't accounted for so the summary should be -252 for ASFKD and -516 for BB

Note while the summary shows us up 1k, I think emerti had about a 2-2.5k acres from LL, so I think we dropped 1k. I felt pretty badly that I dropped the ball when it was time to prepare, but I didn't want to farmout so just never slept to keep it as close as we did.
So what's going to happen now to the KD that made those hits :P?
They're currently in fortified tagged "AGREED WAR, STFO FORTIFIED"

This age a KD pulled the same stuff on us, luckily at our level of play I could arrange with the monarch of the KD we were going to war to cancel the war. We grew, prepared ourselves, then fully waved the Kingdom in question 1 hour before they entered their war. They lost the war, lost about 3 players and are now back in ghetto-land. Think it's time top-KDs should again show people shouldn't mess with them.
This all started with SPGC! Elurin will be remembered :P
