Not very good quality for the personality quantity. Still I'm with Godly on the 1v1 option.
My recommendation was to tie it to vacation mode where kingdoms can match champions for several reasons: avoid war. demonstration of force. grudge settlement. pageantry. diplomacy.
My opinion is that this would add flavor and dimension to mainly top play who would avoid war as greater civilizations may choose. Im not a regular top player, but I'd like to read about the matches.

Godly,, Ex here... former Regent of Shadowlight..... well we didn't win every round...but I do agree the trading rule did kill the game early and allowed alliances like Global Swords Alliance to Flourish......... having been away for some 12 years I have to wonder if Mehul didn't kill the game when he originally split us up.
