The second part of your post: yes giving button would give someone a disadvantage however a proposal to just go to war without waving was offered but BB rejected it and came back saying they would rather hit 1x per day for the next week or so. BB was offered war without either side having to give button but for whatever reason they didn’t want to do that and only seemed to want a war where they get a big starting advantage by being handed button.

Personally I’m ok with this outcome and seems like BB is too as there is no QQ really. One has to discount Sheister posts as he is the mouth of the forums and constantly QQing :p

I posted when I Saw it "why don't you just accept" then they were all like "was a trap at end of each tick, we hadn't paid wages"

Why the heck the two of you haven't picked a date to pay wages and propose again in 5 days is beyond me. #noobdiplo

Emeriti and BB pissed off a bunch of people, ruined their crowning chances and made a mockery of top play simply because neither of them wanted to give up the age by simply paying tax and moving on or fighting a fair enough war. They should either get into war soon to dodge other KDs or CF up and work from there. I bet you anything if some warring KD claimed this to be a hostile they would most certainly wave in. "War agreed is no protection" and in game the relations haven't reached unfriendly. I want to hear what stops other KDs from noticing if they have timed CFs. Then again it's nearly EoA and CFs are probably not expiring, might as well sit there and do nothing.

You should be QQing, how are you not bored by this? Personally, if I played in either of these KDs, the leadership wouldn't hear the end of it - you know how I can get. :) Will you QQ if someone waves you? In other words, do you consider this a hostile?

Most psychologists attribute projection to the simple fact that the behavior is familiar and close in thought. Really not rocket science if I understand that correctly :)

Korp talks about a situation where a person has no regard for other people's opinions. Emotional intelligence is the understanding of your own feelings and the feelings of others and knowing how to control/react to both to produce a wanted result. Part of that is understanding that the same thing will produce different views and emotions in different people.

It wasn’t a trap. It was my idea to propose war and I did not intend for it to be anything other than getting a war with them.

I think 2 of us spoke to 2 different people in BB trying to arrange war and they didn’t want to do it. We tried on our part. You need to take over and agree to war!

I ask because with any active KD this mechanic is bleh. In theory it is nice, but as soon as you get LS'ed of all your runes in the first 10 seconds of war, makes it harder for TMs to actually accomplish a whole lot.

@matija/meep i wouldnt try to define what a hostile is. last age i think i made it clear that Barco noticed into what we consider a hostile, but they(CR) should have called Barco out on actually taking action first instead of being the 'aggressor' to db.

That notice itself was already a db. So how could we be aggresor.

I thought I picked that up from you really, just 15mins after we parted ways in Amsterdam you noticed me into that CF we agreed irl, it was only after I noticed Jesters that you retracted that notice. Screwing over friends was your modus operandi. I'm sure aute can vouch how you tried to demand land from them on the grounds of 'zomg emeirti just eoa-ed me, give me land to bypass them!' and despite having a friendly CF the entire age.

Oh and, sure you supported CR by gangbanging them and farming them. Is that how you 'support' kingdoms ?

Can't be the aggressor on a dealbreak that has already happened.

We did call them out.

They refused to retract notice, repeatedly reaffirming that the deal was in fact broken.

Thats BS lol and u know it. I planned on noticing yall yr 10 or 11 and we agreed to extend another 2 weeks (were u in Amsterdam for 2 weeks?). Then when we noticed later we turned it into eoa.

As for asking land from Jesters: ye I did do that but didnt insist in the end. If they all hated me for it I doubt theyd play with us now ;)

The only thing they actually need to fix is Parma banning your IP from the game and the forums. Random mechanic changes on an age to age basis are fun. Although they are disproportionately advantaged to the 2 or 3
People who actually can plan strategies (I.e. The strategies y'all end up copying aes later)
