You aren't correct Joshua, it seems SillyPanda is also playing in a lower ranked kingdom. If you don't have close friendships tying you to the game then I'd recommend quitting, the game is unlikely to develop much and what development there is doesn't look very promising.
Oh yeah, we intra-raze 3 out of every 4 ages. Sit around WAITING for some ghetto full of noobs to wave us. ITS AWESOME. Nothing says you pwned somebody like have a monarch and vice on for 3 hours at a time trying to make sure no one attacks so they can surrender at the 48 hour mark. Its... LOVELY.

Ok then, I admit my error you must know who's who more than me. So, there's a player in a small kingdom who doesn't believe this is a valid reason for people quitting utopia. And that makes it what? A non valid reason? I didn't say that everyone left because of this, it's just aggravating the problem.
But why do I even bother, everyone knows that being bullied is a very pleasant hobby and we'd do pretty much anything to keep it going instead of maybe looking for something else to do. That makes so much more sense doesn't it?

Joshua, I just disagreed with your assertion that only top kingdoms disagree with you on this matter, as you'll find that kind of attitude in all kinds of kingdoms. And you'll also find a few top kingdoms who are sympathetic to your perspective. I agree completely with your sentiments, the game (and community in general) is way too hostile towards nubs.

Love the flaming SillyPanda, very constructive. And if you read carefully what I posted, it states plainly that just because you don't believe it's valid reason does it make it invalid. It can still be valid until proven otherwise.
Answers given in the form of a question... Especially when one originally finds themselves in the forums specifically to complain about a non existant game mechanic that would allow them to maliciously harass another KD without fear of war; and then whine bout it.... are questions... and deserve answers.

I guess the fact that their provinces are out of range, and that they can quite possibly 3x raze the ghetto in question, somehow means they must be protected, and their right to bully everyone and everything - not only with razes and endless bottom grabs, but now with wars tha can come within a moment's notice - must be defended.
After all, it's their RIGHT to bully people! They got to the top through hard, honest effort, and never used any underhand tactics whatsoever to get there, or to secure their standing there.
Suiciding into someone a third of their size, then taking them to a war they have no chance whatsoever of winning, for any reason, between heaven and hell, is completely fine.
In fact, how DARE that ghetto strike back against the first ranked kingdom of the game!? It's only fitting that they're now in war, and have made two attacks in span Sonata has made 25!
I like Realest, and I like Sonata, but declaring on that kingdom is pretty lame. I am disappointed.
All of these same top players are the people always telling nubs to retal top kingdoms, and now you crucify them for it as being nubs getting themselves into this mess, when we all know they should have been protected by the game mechanics. Hypocrites, the lot of you.
If anyone had ever advised to retal with more hits than you took yourself, I'd agree it would be hypocritical.
Why should a <50% kd be protected when a 50-60% kd is not? The smaller you are, the less your ability to fight back, yes. But the smaller you are, the less a big kd gains from you. So if this right to attack as much as you want without ending up in war is so fundamental and important, why not extend it to those who are more likely to need it? Hell, even kd's 75% the size will have issues in war, they should be protected too?
