You can't sit there straight faced and tell me you and your kingdom have not abused other people's multies before, because everybody has. It's even MORE prevalent in that regard nowadays then in the past because there are just so few targets in general.

They may not be 'good' for the game, but they've always been there and always will be. The changes proposed in the previous thread specifically make the problem WORSE for disorganized small groups, not better.
I can't see how you people can even pretend to have a more nuianced opinion of this then I do, since I've played like 8 of my last 12 ages in just such a kingdom(s) on purpose...

How can you be surprised that someone who is playing as a griefer supports multis? That's probably the only way to get hold of enough accounts not to be squashed off the server. Personally I do doubt Pillz's skill in the game as it is now, looks to me like he is pining for the days gone past and he can't wait to see Uto dead. Personally I'm positive that he invited Sheister into his kingdom when he did simply because he wanted to be involved in that situation.


Imagine a new player coming across this. Do you think they'd stay around? Yes, there are still real people coming in who have never played before, they pop up regularly in the kingdom I'm in, and we nurture them and proactively encourage them to stay and play.

I say again, if a kd of 22 people quit the game because it's not fun anymore, to satisfy the egos of griefers, how is that good for the game? But griefers don't care, because they don't care about the game, just about how Uto can be a vehicle for their egos and spite. I'm not saying that this has been DD's finest hour, but I'm not interested in Pillz and Korp and co. pretending to be a little ghetto standing for the little guy against a bigger and better ghetto bullying them.

Big mean 2mil ghetto gonna ruin the game for everybody.
We finish in the bottom ten every age or something. How much grief can we really cause? And if we can cause that much, I guess it means at least a couple of us are suited for the game as it is now.

EDIT: And lol @ the idea anybody in this kingdom uses multies. Yes that is all that is preventing us from finishing dead last, our dozens of multies.

Now wait one second. At PRESENT I play for griefing. When I thought this was going to go away I was going to play to train nubs in my age off. DD just gave me something that was funnier to do. Steel did not recruit me. Korp asked if I would like to join because he was in a war with x:x and it seemed more fun that picking on DD or training nubs. So sue me, I abandoned griefing. My reward for abandoning griefing, was to get sucked into griefing.

Why just the other day DD told me they were not going to hit me anymore. Yet here I am being hit hit hit. Oh well. The fun part is that they can't seem to keep me from playing. Like I said somewhere else, griefers grief, it's in their nature, even if they say they don't particularly want to do it.

I have PKed DD provinces in the past and never even received so much as a message from the monarch. All I got was messages from the individual province. I am amazed they have a pulse.

I'm not sure who DD is but I've not seen them extend a reasonable offer to Korp N crew. I'm not saying they have not extended one, I'm just pointing out I've followed this thread and I've not seen it; so maybe I missed it, but if I did I'm going to guess others missed it too.

I'm wanting to know what Sweetiepie thinks a Ghetto going up against a, like I've asked before, grossly numerically superior kingdom is supposed to do? I consider it unreasonable for said types of kingdoms (the small ones) to just accept bullying.

Krynn came forward as the 'founder' of DD and said that the rest of them were stepping out of negotiations. I spoke to him in private (my mistake) and the logs are (consensually) posted in this thread somewhere. At the time he offered us acres & even mentioned a full wave. I initially rejected but then took counsel with the rest of our kingdom. During that time Abi (DD's monarch) continued to dig herself a hole and so we never bothered to respond again. This evidently upset Krynn a lot, and he doesn't understand why his monarch's public posts should influence diplomacy between us. In addition, Abi & co deny that Krynn was ever in a position to negotiate a deal with us.

I learnt my lesson and conducted the next round of talks with 'lost' in #tactics. Those logs are also posted and he made it clear no deal would be accepted.

With the exception of that sole discussion between Krynn and I, DD have offered absolutely nothing but a 'a line and a blank CF'. We've expressed that this is unacceptable to us, and why, in great detail and in repetition.

For the record, the Republic of Octobrev has tabled these three offers to DD for a CF

• 5k acres to Octo (#acres4octo)
• Abi self deletes her province (she can be invited back we don't care)
• Abi publicly apologizes (details to be discussed if they accept)

They've rejected all of these and have stated categorically that they will accept no terms to a CF. Just a blank CF.

As we are the aggrieved party and are prepared to continue this indefinitely, a blank CF is not acceptable to us.

oh... oops. I said war. my bad. The meanie pants meanie-ness that we are perpetrating on each other that involves and exchange of fictional resources consistent with the game mechanics.

The only reason these attacks continue is that we can not move on to war. Knowing we will be razed into. not fair to our team and not fair to the opponent. If we do not continue attacks it will be leaving an advisory at our backs to grow and continue to be an issue, interfering with the 20+ player in Dungeon Dwellers. There has been no real attempt to let us know this can be put behind us from your Kingdom and all attempts made from DD have been denied. So calling us out as "the one griefing " is a bit disingenuous.

Sorry man, I can only go on what he's posted - that he was and is griefing. No idea on him otherwise, sorry, I don't know you either so I've got no reason not to go just on what's posted.

Sheister - you said war, so I assumed you meant war. War is war. In the mid level and lower, war is war and when it's done it's done, no bad feelings on either side if it's been clean. All this is a different kettle of fish. It's clear to me what's going on with DD, but I find it interesting that nobody has posted anything about Strippers, from either side, except that two people have potentially left the game for ever because of it.

khronosschoty - I have only not responded to your question because my response would be fairly long and cover a lot of ground I feel relevant. I don't think this thread is the place for a long piece from a non-involved participant, and at the moment I don't have time to do it justice. I also do not actually think it genuinely relates to this situation. I have to say I have never known, nor been told of, a true small ghetto kingdom getting razed by two larger kingdoms for weeks. But then a genuine ghetto kingdom does have gameplay goals and would not want to continue this situation.

"bantering" You supposedly have grand children I think you mentioned it and you call accusing people of being pedophiles as "banter". And you admit of being nastier yourself, i feel sorry for anyone in your family having to put up with a person like yourself.

I was in a kd once when one of our new province hit into a larger kd that explictly states 'will eat noobs that attacked' and even retaled the subsequent retal. The undead province involved then proceeded into a raze frenzy after diminishing gains and the rest of the KD raze back in retaliation only the particular province. We took a few hits set up a cf and moved on. We did as any small kd would do but there wasnt any age long and beyond grudges or forum drama. Unfortunately based on the nature of the game if you get picked on it wld seemed you got outcompeted since everyone starts from the same dashline. If that is an issue then the game mechanism shd be altered to reflect it as intended gameplay. As for griefing especially with youe identity exposed is just bad karma. I think.

people of all ages have played this game, i think the youngest team mate i had was 11 years old, the oldest was a great-grandfather of 6, people of different colour, race, religion, sex, beliefs play the game, i am also not a fan of all the swearing and the constant proving of manhood.

it is a GAME, it is not real life and i used to play it to escape all that BS yet here we are once again with grown men and women name calling and trying to prove themselves and if that means wrecking it for others then who cares, well i used to care but left because of all trolls, i was not driven out but left as the standards of the players were in a drastic decline, the old alliances running roughshod over the rest of the server 'pick on us and we will have you taken out of the game' yet these were allowed to flourish (having a friend or two in high places seemed to help them as well).
now the 'big kingdoms' have nothing left to aim for they split up and just play to annoy others and that is also allowed to happen.

whoever is actually in charge of the game now needs to take a good hard look at it and introduce some kind of 'fair play' rules or just stop running it full stop.
