It's obvious he doesn't get it. We don't need the CF - he does.

There is no hostile here, because we haven't hit back in days. Does he have a meter at play? Sure, but he is the one playing meter games, since again, we have not hit back in days, or even opped. So this so-called hostile is one-sided. Bart is using it as an excuse to hide, and he is more than welcome to CF us - on our terms - which I promise is much less painful than the terms he "offered" to us.

FS and ED were not competing for anything that age, it was the AWar age. Maybe you mean/mixed it up with the age prior don't know wasn't there age 64, joined FS age 65, but that was a 1v1 conflict so an entirely different example anyway. What difference does it make even if it were true?

ED won honor that age and FS was t5 minimum at the time, and finished 6th. I'm sorry that you don't recall ED winning honor in the awar age, but that doesn't mean they weren't competing for it.

Much like dealing with grudges, competitors can/should be played differently than ghettos. (There's more leeway to aggressively powerplay them)

I remember ED winning the Honor Crown that age. They farmed my kingdom for 5k to 10k honor. :( we had 6 princes until they visited us.

So you are saying FS had leeway to begin with because they crowned age 64 for farming
ED yet ED held a grudge against them for it. It's like here, Sparta is legitimately removing a hostile threat but the players there will be holding a grudge. I wonder for how long.

And no, FS was nowhere near a crown that age because of the slow start (had to reset a Cinderella themed setup after our first war - let's just say 7dwarves 17elves and a faery doesn't work) and then the awar came shortly afterwards. ED crowned, OK my bad, guess I just don't care about a KD that got by due to your forum propaganda and disbanded shortly afterwards <3

Obviously you don't understand. They are calling this an active hostile, when it's not. The hostile is one-sided. There is a meter at play, but we have let our side decay while they keep pushing their side up. The more they do that, the longer it takes to decay, meaning they are leaving the relation open - by not CFing under our terms, because by now we don't give them anything for free - or they stop hitting and let it decay.

They are hiding behind the "active hostile" status.

Its easy to see what happened. You made CF deals that handcuffed your dealings with others and you possibly played those dealings out to the 2 kingdoms that wanted acres( a commodity in this game).

Pretty much summed it up there. Just take Barts CF. You know he wont stop and has no reason until you CF. He forced the hand that is being dealt at the moment. That ****ty thing is that your stubbornness let it get this far with the greening of your provinces.

I never imagined razekilling Bart. Being a monarch is a tough job, but finding my province close to razekilled, and thereby made useless to my kingdom for which I serve, (game) enrages me. How far will Bart go before the community realizes this is a toxic form of extortion.

How about this: we prefer to keep our acres. Not pay bridge tolls or get weeks of razekill. Not be strong armed. They had several waves we were willing to let them move on with reasonable terms, but Bart kept upping the ante, or demanding an answer at 4am when I'm sleeping, or ELSE.

That's fine. I'll take the kill, and cowgirl up.

I never said that... what i said was they made deals with 4-5 other kingdoms stating they would not do a particular thing. They could not secure said thing with 2 of the direct comp of the previous deals. In essence they were in a no win situation and pretty much had to break a deal with 4-5 other kingdoms or go renegotiate with them.

They chose to fight. They had outs.. many of them. No where in the utopia rules does it state you keep your land for free.

Have something to offer or drop out of that range before the land can be taken, but stop crying foul looking for sympathy when you basically failed 4-5 other kingdoms that could of taken your land as well.

And guess what you still gave Bart as much if not more than what they asked for... at what the cost of 5 raze kills? Seems smart

Obviously you don't get it...You do not have to demand anything from the CF. Pan kingdom is out of your league or not able to do any damage to Spartans at all. I don't understand why the need to drag the so called not hostile hostile. Hidden agenda?

I'm in charge of diplo in this conflict. You can either pay 6K land for an EOA CF ((On top of the land he already waved for!!)), or the terms are as follows:

1. CD does not pay acres to Sparta or any other KD in the top 10.

2. CD tags up "don't fcuk with Sparta" until EOA.

3. Sparta will get a one-sided option to give a 48-hour notice to CD.

4. CD will not grow bigger than 60% of Sparta's size.
