Morale of the story. Ghettos you should retal when a KD twice your size hits you we are extremely inactive and game mechanics still make it a huge pain for them to take any land.

and whats your point? we merely exchanged hits. nothing more nothing less.

we had our plan which we stuck to regardless of our hostile.

shame someone else had to come along and double us but such is life.

but thanks for cfing us so we can deal with the doublers now :)

I thought my point was obvious. If a ghetto wannabie top kingdom starts hitting you and is over 50% larger then you it is generally worth your time to retal them. If you re-read the first post you can see the point. (where I wrote "morale of the story")

1) any other top KD will likely ignore the "hostile"
2) the -30% gains for relative KD nw GB protection etc. make it very hard for the larger KD to ever gain anything even if they outhit you 2:1.

Yeah, until they stop hitting, or it goes to war, one of which will inevitably happen. At those points the bigger kingdom obviously will take a land lead. Which would have happened if they hadn't gotten doubled..

Yet it still is an active hostile no? so any other kingdom coming in and waving will end up doubling no?

and Goodz I wasn't disagree with your post - but at the same time if kingdom x wont cf and wants to keep hitting / exchanging hits why should kingdom y not reciprocate?

regardless of what went on between our two kingdom, kingdom z still doubled in our hostile :(

Waving a kd 50% less your NW and then tagging hostile is not a real hostile. i think it only implies as hostile when cow hits are exchanged...

lol we waved them?

we did 2 or 3 randoms into them > they retalled > we retalled > we tried to do diplo (but then 2 or 3 of my non irc based players attacked into them which resulted in cf talks not happening) which lead no where > both continued hits > cf was eventually agreed upon once kingdom Y doubled but only after kingdom x did a few more hits.

before trying to teach me the game, get your facts straight ;)

You randomed into them and started it... Looks like they didn't want to be bullied. It still does not warrant a hostile tag though.

Nope, they randomed us first.

I guess it doesnt really help when your cow is on no peasants either does it..

Just the biggest province has just under 4 pez/acres, the other large human is fine

I don't need to defend my teams actions - we've done nothing wrong.

Goodz kingdom wouldn't enter cf talks so we kept hitting (and so did they) - normal part of the game. Were we suppose to leave the hostile open and sit there taking hits from their kingdom while we do nothing? lol

I suppose when you talk so much BS you start to believe it.....

wanted to add our 'hostile' with The kingdom of The Universe Hostile isn't a real hostile since:

Their Attitude To Us : Hostile
Our Attitude To Them : Normal

Just using their logic here ;)

i tried to offer 1 free wave for a cf (on top of what, 5k acres taken already?) but hey The Universe wanted 4 free waves. So whatever happens is out of my control - so I control what my own kingdom does.

how did we screw up 'ghetto' game plan? we had planned to explore a cow and we did then 'ghetto' came along - we still stuck to our plans except we had to engage 'the ghetto' just like The Universe. Its annoying but we still sticking to our own plans lol

yeah there was that - but again i state this is our building age. we've had to kill off 2 provs recently :(

semi-competent leadership/players would not have given ops to a ghetto for no reason when their cows have 0wpa. Mind you the cows would have been useless anyway since they had no military or wpa. If we weren't so rubbish we probably could have razed the cows (90k def). As for us being a hostile, perhaps... but no one is going to respect it when you are twice our size, and we have like 18 players who login 1x a day / don't use irc etc.

At least if I led a KD and you put up cows to #1 without a cf and exchanged hits with a ghetto I wouldn't mind hitting into it:p But I am perhaps not the most honorable :)

Ultimately you were going to lose the war you are in regardless of the exchange with us I think :)

you guys also refused to enter cf talks so tell me what we were suppose to do? just sit there letting you hit us? I tried to open cf talks for a second time I think 24hrs into the hostile and you still refused.

as i was sending the 1st ingame message about talking about cfing a few of my peeps attacked without orders thus we messed up (already said i hold my hands up to that). I have also stated this is a building age for us and we recruitted quite a few new players who have not been playing for that long so yes mistakes will happen. I dont claim to have a super cool kingdom (yet) :)

I have nothing but respect for you and some of your players and won't get into a forum war with you lol. I hope you have a good age and enjoy it.

btw we also did a few randoms into another smaller kingdom who then got onto irc and asked us to cf and move on. we cfed immediately - so for all those saying we wanted to tag hostile vs a smaller kingdom so we can xplore our cows = bs

I said leader/players if you're players decided to hit us a bunch then fair enough. I hardly log in enough to monitor things.

I just did some minor intel and it looks like the kd you're warring isn't even bothering to fireball your banks. Considering success was very high with 1.5 mod wpa I assume they are probably not very good so perhaps you will be able to win :)

Yes generally I would let a ghetto random my kd for 90 acres or such and not retal if I am not in a good position to retal war some nubs.

goodz, what kind of teacher are you?
you are missing out the most important facts here.

You are forgetting that as a ghetto you should in-game msg other kingdoms and ask them to wave the kd that you are exchanging hits with. (hostile meter can at this time be at 80+ points)
You get replies from other kds saying "yes, please keep the topkd occupied by attacking them, until we wave".
when you see that another kd sends a dragon and do a full wave. then your ghetto kd should do a 10x hit wave too.

dont miss out on these important minor details, because you can get others into trouble. if they arent as street smart as you
