Cromulent Republic vs Ancient Spartans

The war the entire server has been waiting for. The two most successful kingdoms of the last few ages going head to head in an epic struggle. We were busy dropping out of the top when we were asked by CR if we'd be interested in a war. Without a second thought I said "yes!". At that time we didn't know yet what kind of state we would be, but as it looks now it looks very favorable to us. We have cow-advantage, more sci and more wpa. Our orcs are also significantly more pumped than their Undead. However, CR is still CR so they will have some tricks on their sleeve.

Looking forward to an epic match-up!

We tried hard last age to recruit hesus to cr so we would be able to compete for this age.. We even made a deal in the war last age that if we won we would get him to join us but if we lost i would have to join pandas (we knew we would win ofc). He didnt honor the deal though so we decided we would just have to take next age off since we got no one that can be around the next few months.

The problem we have is really we just yolo around without a plan and without leadership, yes we grew to much that was a mistake..

We had 6 online at start of war and we are positive by mintim at least everyone will have showed up once. This will be pretty embarrasing ofc and people will call us out for this any coming round.. but really, we are actually taking this age off.. ;)

Summer is summer boys..

edit: yes if it was not clear im blaming hesus for all this mess..

Your right, Spartans only crowned 2 of the last 3 ages and last age they only obtained the honor crown and palems overall age crown. No kd winning the honor crown has finished #2 #2 #1 in the last how many ages ? 25+? There was certainly at least 10 other more successful kds over the last few ages. So please give an example of what Spartans did last age to cheat? There isn't any because Spartans played it clean and legit. I'm excited to see the results of your research though, or whether you decide to just make up something semi-dull and unoriginal.

Update on war:

1. First wave we chained 3 of their provs army-home. We only succeeded in chaining one of them. I should've chosen 2 targets rather than 3.
2. Second wave we chained a few of their UD who nearly had army-home. We MVed their TW to overpop them heavily.
3. Third wave we kept on chaining.
4. We just dropped one of their cows after protracted starvation tactics (dropped his NW by about 100K through starvation and MS).

Core fight seems over, they just have some low-off elves and halfers that cannot send out much due to the threats we possess in our top provs.

I do not question that you asked hesus. I question CR's "off age". Godly's rant simply confirms you started the age with every intention to persue another crown. Once you lost to Pyro and then to Greeks, your age was over and you claim off age.

What makes you think you could pressure their orc/warriors?

I'm not sure I need to make this clear but just in case: my comments were that I did not believe the libel being spread that accuses CR of being full of it when they say they intended on taking this age off.

To be redundantly clear, I believe CR intended on taking this age off.
